Lets start this comment off with the word torture! Cause thats what my mom went threw today! I wish there was a lower rating but for this comment to go on I had to atleast rate it a one !.....so Ok so by the way this was her first time going to aspen and SHE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! WHY? HER WORDS (how can a human do that yo another human) (I feel like they where so cold and I feel like I was tortured!) She also said ( that she felt like they where in a rush to go home cause they where about to close!) We where there from 2:30-5 OK so here go...... We go in wait she signed in and takes a seat we go to the back when they call her back.... Of course I ho with her.... Anyway she goes to the xray room I wait in the green room till shes done than we both fallow the nurse to the back she sits in the dental chair and we wait..... 30 min! Nurse and doc come in and tell her this and that about her teath we ask if it going to be pulled they say sure they leave gun nurse comes in tells her about gum disease OK ya ya we ask again will it be pulled today she says yes than leaves another nurse comes in to take us back to the green room we ask her hey we made this appointment to get this tooth pulled!! We ask again can they pull it today again she says yes they take us to the green room office lady comes In by now my daughter attitude has set in!! And I ask the office lady (hey we have asked three people is this tooth getting pulled today they all said yes yet now she is out of a chair and in a waiting room?) She says OK come with me we go with her deal with all the paper work and finances blah blah blah we are asked to wait in the lobby than they come and say it will be an hour wait! Time passes... OK after she takes us back to the dental seat we sit down and wait another 30min for the doc to come in Once he dose he numbs her! OK great! Right? No!!!!! Shes curling in her chair yelling saying it hurt he just keeps poking that He just leaves after numbing her we wait about ten min a nurse comes in asks are you numb? She said no I can feel my gums and the pressure still nurse says ok we will numb u up some more the doc comes bk in and numbs more once again now this time she is in tears! Ok I get it that normal but whats next IS NOT! right after the second numbing they do he goes straight in and starts pulling shes screaming at the top of her lung she tells them to stop she can feel it all and he dont he just keeps pulling she even had yo grad his arm ! Did that help? Nope! The nurse is now holding her arm down she is still yelling stop her knees are at her chest and she is crying so I stand up and walk to the side of her chair Nd say (hey! ( Im yelling at this point ) she said to stop!) So they finally stop and dont say a word the doc rolls his eyes and drops his arms and says ok come back Monday we can try again the infection wont let us pull it! And he leaves the nurse walks us out my mother is still in tears! We walk yo the from and go to the front desk my mom crying tells the front desk lady ( I will never come back her) and we leave! And I know this dont seem bad in words but its a you had to see it to believe it type things it was insane!!!! NOONE AND I REPART NOONE SGOULD BE TRWATED THE WAS SHE WAS! NOT ONLY WAS IT TRAUMATIZING BUT her words(SHE FELT AS IF SHE WAS BEING TORTURED!) AND I was just watching I could only imagine haw she felt! It was like one of those crazy things you think is going to happen but never dose and you come out fine NOT TODAY IT ACTUALLY HAPPEN AND SHE WAS BOT FINE! SO..... I will be reporting to the human health bureau in the morning and I will be calling corporate cause something needs to be done!!!! because now my mother is home and is twice as worse as she was he whole face is even more puffy all the way up to her eye she is constantly in huge amounts of pain she can barley stay awake her whole side of her face is throbbing and in pain she has to use an ice pack to sleep she cant even open her mouth enough to lick her like her nerves are shot!

7/21/2017 ***Follow-Up Review*** I would like to add a little something to this review. Since the original post I got in touch with the ones who responded to this post. Since then they have made every effort to make the situation right. I have returned to Aspen Dental and everything has gone very smoothly thus far. I am appreciative for their effort in correcting the situation. I am also extremely impressed with Tiffany and Daniel. Even after writing this post they have both been extremely helpful, professional and kind since I have returned. I apologize for any hurt feelings in writing the original post, but in doing so, I feel that it helped things get corrected, but also helped to ensure that nothing of the sort will happen with any one else. So, thank you Aspen Dental for your efforts in making things right. Also, thank you especially to Tiffany, for all of your effort. I really appreciate it. 4/2017 ***Original Review*** Everyone seems very nice and willing to help, but the office staff at the Waco location does not know what they are doing. Edith, the one who does the cleanings is extremely nice and very good at what she does. Dr. Hussain is quick and effective. So it is disappointing to find that the office staff can not handle things on their end. They do not fully understand how the financing that they offer you works. They do not communicate effectively and they do not stand by what the say. I have repeatedly been told one thing, but upon arrival, they apologize for the fact that I was given wrong information. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere if you have other options. If you need them because of the financing option, just be sure that you check and double check everything that they tell you. Do not trust that because they seem sweet and knowledgeable that they are on top of things.Tiffany and Daniel have repeatedly given me misinformation that is now costing me money out of pocket because of mistakes and ignorance on their end.

I called the clinic and let them know that I read in severe pain. I had already completed 10 days of antibiotics and needed a root canal asap in order to keep the infection from coming back. They said that they could see me the next day. I reiterated the fact that I was going to be driving 96 miles for this appointment and that I needed it fixed at this appointment and they repeated that it would be no problem. Well, I drove the 96 miles, got the standard check up, x-rays etc.... Then the dentist Dr Hussein comes in, looks a my x-rays, looks at my teeth and says "you need a root canal" I was like noooooo sh!#, thats why Im here. And his reply was ohhhhh nooooooo we dont do those here, we farm them out to local endodontic clinics,but there are none in the area that either accept your insurance or that do accept it, but they are "out of network" Once they realized how pissed I was they started calling around and found an endodontic clinic that was in my network, but they couldnt see me until Wednesday (2 days later) and it was another 60 miles further from my house than their clinic. I finally just got up and left, before I said or did something that I might regret.
