Less than 1*. Dont waste your time ..... apparently there are no REAL doctors at a hospital anymore. Patient sent home without full range of tests to determine problem went in for .... with same meds already taking .... with instructions to call a doctor in a day "if not better". Then when try to call that doctor "a day later" their service says they wont take calls till monday and refer you back to the ER you just left. Total waste of time and money! Could have gone to local Patient First clinic and had better care for less.

I cant express my gratefulness to the nursing staff at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, particularly; Alva, Alice, and Angela in the level three step down unit (floor 3). These nurses were there for my Sister, Sandie while she was actively dying. They were incredible with their care, compassion and professionalism. My family and I are forever thankful for your service.God Bless

Worst experience ever. Took my better half to the ER at about 7:15pm for severe back pain and muscle spasms and did not see a doctor till after midnight, but others that came in after us were seen before us and left before us. And what does a rectal exam have to do with back pain and muscle spasms. Discharged at 2:25am and was still in severe pain and no answers as to why she was having pain.

The ER admissions desk was staffed by a older lady who complained my fiance id was exspired when he could barely stand. Even though moments before he pointed out the he had lost his wallet and offered her a faxed copy of his insurance card. This is what is wrong with our healthcare system! Making sure they can hunt you down to get PAID means more than patient comfort.

Every single nurse and caregiver my husband had was excellent except one- if Stephanie is your nurse just walk home she does absolutely nothing and will leave you hanging on a single Tylenol for hours. Cant say enough about how friendly and informative the ER doctors, other nurses and other doctors were and I am so grateful to them for that!

7-15015 Sent 57 yr. old daugh. to er via ambulance with b/p over 200 /120, severe headache, chest pain, anxiety. Arriv. 3:30, Iv inserted to kvo.. Not seen by a doctor until approx. 6:00 p.m....much waiting with little attention for what could have been a very serious event...
