We had bad experience with Dr. Green, the internist. It was 2.5 months of agony for our family and particularly for our pet. When we took our dog with swollen bleeding nose to Dr. Green we assumed that he would alleviate dogs suffering. We were wrong. Dr. Green suspected the cause of the dog’s problem from the onset however, for 2.5 months he did nothing to help him. Instead, he put the dog through costly repetitive invasive diagnostic tests. Neither he nor his staff did not even bother to inform us on the test results until we requested. At the end of Dr. Green’s elaborate testing dog bled profusely every day from nose, mouth, and even eyes, choked on his blood but Dr. Green did not care. My home was like a slaughterhouse covered in blood. It was horrible. During this time on my frantic plea for help, Dr. Green only advised repeating the costly invasive procedure the dog already had; his staff suggested going to the emergency associated with Dr. Green where they asked me to pay upfront $100 for diagnostics even though they had all information on the dog. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Cannot be trusted.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Last week I came rushing in after my baby Paisley was hit by a car, they tried their best to bring her back but unfortunately she was already gone by the time I got her there and too much damage had been done. It was the worst day of my life. Everybody I came into contact with was so extremely compassionate, I was beside myself with grief but they were patient and kind. They brought me into a room to visit with her body and told me to take my time, I could have the room all day if I wanted. They led my friends and family in as they came to say goodbye to Paisley, and brought me scissors so I could keep some of her fur. Yesterday I picked up her ashes and clay paw prints, the ashes came in a beautiful wooden box with an engraved nameplate inside a velvet pouch. They also included a hand written sympathy card from the Doctor and staff. In the midst of such an awful and traumatic situation they took care of me and I will forever be grateful <3 :(

After taking my cat here at 3AM after having an emergency visit, I would highly recommend if you have an emergency to take your animal here. Reception was friendly, welcoming and very attentive to how stressed we were over our animals discomfort. Staff was informative and gentle with us as well as being incredibly informative and willing to explain things we did not understand. The vet who saw us was not only the most understanding and kind vet Ive met, he was more than willing to walk us through our expenses and understood and was empathetic with us. Everyone listened very carefully to what we observed to be wrong with our animal and went head long into narrowing down the issue till we finally found a diagnosis we could work with our normal vet to cure. In times of uncertainty and fear for a loved pet its incredible to find understanding and empathetic caregivers and I cannot say how thankful I am to have taken her to be seen, or how I can recommend their incredible care enough.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! At first I thought it was going to be great having a specialist here locally. Took forever to call back with results, made it clear how busy they were and call backs were NOT the priority. Then billed me for medications and IV medications my pet did not receive. He only left me for about 10 minutes when he went to the back for blood to be drawn and for a UA. While questioning the charges it dawned on me they may have given my pet the wrong medications when he was not with me. We were having this conversation over the phone (they conveniently billed me after I paid in full and about a week and a half after the fact!) anyway, when questioned, instead of answering me, the phone "went dead". They did not bother calling me back. I called back and asked for the office manager. This was my 2nd request to speak to speak to her. Its been over a week now. She either doesnt know I called - or doesnt care. Either way - I wont be taking him back.

Brought my cat to their emergency clinic because he could barely pee and was in pain when he tried. They actually had someone WAITING to take him into the back when we arrived. They took good care of him, laughed about it when he "released the floodgates" all over the veterinarian, and even then their biggest concern was catching a sample for a UA. When I called with follow-up questions, they were very helpful and concerned for his well-being. Though not entirely surprising given the water-works, they even remembered his name with only "I brought my cat in for bladder issues..."! My regular vet had his records early the next day. Hopefully Ill never need them again, but if I do, this is where Ill go!!

I dont think you will ever find a staff that is as kind and caring as this group. It is stressful enough when your fur baby needs medical treatment and I was made to feel at ease by the genuine caring individuals that work here. They understand the individual breeds and treat accordingly. My baby is a French Bulldog and with any of the brachycephalic breeds need to be treated differently when under anesthesia. This staff knows their stuff and I would highly recommend them. Gus and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

I disagree completely with the first review. Dr. Brad Greene, internist at OVS has been a godsend to our dog. We went to him when our dog was diagnosed with diabetes and with kidney stone issues that plagued him from the day we rescued him. Because we had no history on him, for years, our vet just couldnt figure out what was wrong with him. He sent us to Dr. Greene who discovered the stones our first visit. He also has worked tirelessly with us to try to manage Leroys diabetes. He loves what he does and is very good at it.

Outstanding service from each member of their team that assisted us. Everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and seemed very knowledgeable. Felt confident leaving our fur baby in their care while she recovered from emergency surgery. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! We brought our dog in for surgery after he broke his leg. A year after his surgery my dog shows absolutely no sign of having broken his leg. He runs and jumps with the best of them.
