Worst hospital ever! I had my first daughter there and was fine. Then I was pregnant with my second daughter after 2 1/2 yrs later. I had concerns and Dr. Beatse was behind in patients, and said I was fine. Well I should have went to my gut. I found out that Tuesday I was having another girl, and that same week Friday I went to Lakeland for labor pains. Dr. Beatse was the on call doctor, he came in and said I was 5cm dilated. And there was nothing they would do to save my daughter because I was 22 weeks pregnant. Wasnt compassionate and left, and I never saw him again. I was left scared and clueless as to what went wrong. I later found out that the infection I had could have been caught and treated had Dr. Beatse done his job correctly. My daughter would have had a very good chance of staying in my belly. He should have been fired! Im not the only person I read later that had similar experiences. Hes a jerk, and not very friendly. STAY AWAY!!!!

Some doctors are ok but as a traveling family with no constant medical care, we have gone here multiple times through our Wisconsin stays. There is a wonderful Dr last name starts with an S and he is fantastic but that Dr. Patel is someone I would never trust with my care or the care of my family ever again. We have huge issues now unfortunately that need to be addressed and he sent us home with medications that made both of us worse and physically sick. I dont care what personal beliefs are, if youre a doctor, those go out the window when you put on those scrubs and white coat. We trusted you and we were seriously let down by someone that calls themselves a "medical professional."

I am a cardiology patient new to the area and found all the personnel I interacted with to be cogenial, efficient, professional, timely, communicative and effective. I previously moved form the shadow of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago which is world renowned and find my experience at Aurora to be managed as well and my cardiologist was formally Chief of Cardiology at Norhwestern. While this is not a "big city teaching hospital" it is without doubt a high functioning institution for most care. So, thank you Aurora Lakeland for exceeding expectations.

I had my baby here and it was a wonderful experience. I chose to have a natural (no medication) labor, and I was never pressured to do anything I didnt want to. The nurses that attended my labor and took care of us during my stay were great about helping me with everything I needed and answering any questions I had. After I went home they even called a couple days later to check on me.

I gave birth to my 3rd child here and the experience was great! The staff was helpful and caring and the facilities were roomy. They supplied my husband with a bed so he could get stay with me after the baby was born .. not all hospitals do that. Overall great experience!

Absolutely pathetic. I know someone whose doctor left the Aurora system because of such bad practice. Gone in for abdominal pain and bleeding. Nothing done. Rashes...nothing done. Absolutely awful.

Excellent care from everyone, from the doctors, the nurses the respiratory staff and even the cleaning staff! Definitely my hospital of choice!

Id rather drive an extra 10 miles and come to Aurora. The Mercy emergency is not good at all...they are rude and make you wait for ever!

This place gets my vote for the worst hospital, if you can call it that, in walworth county.
