I adopted two cats, ages 3 and 4, and brought them to Exclusively Cats to maintain their health. They were given a clean bill of health. Several months later the younger cat developed a bowel blockage. On Dr. Dunkels recommendation I took him to a veterinary hospital for further care. Within a week I was tole he might have to be euthanized. A shock! Dr. Dunkel told the specialist to let me take him home. He came home with an upper respiratory infection. But under her care and that of the staff Merlin pulled through. Dr. Dunkel went with what she felt was best for Merlin and it worked! Several years later my other cat was diagnosed with liver cancer. Dr. Dunkel noticed a growth after an xray was given to the cat. I took him to another hospital where the diagnosis was given along with the information that Pippin had about six weeks to live. Shocker!! But Pippin lived a comfortable life for almost a year more. I credit Dr. Dunkels expertise for this. She, her staff, and I worked together harmoniously to make Pippin comfortable and he rewarded us by living well beyond the six weeks he was given. Dr. Dunkel and her staff listen to any concerns I have and make suggestions and work with me to provide the needed care for my cat (Merlin). Everything I share about the health of Merlin is well documented along with Dr. Dunkels suggestions and prescriptions. Im grateful to have been guided to Exclusively Cats and very thankful to Dr. Dunkel and her staff for the love and support they have shown to my cats and to me.

I just had a recent wonderful and educational experience with my new little boy Matthew last week who is my wife and I new bundle of joy. Dr. Dunkle and her staff took almost an hour to answer my questions regarding every topic regarding a kittens overall wellness such as the proper nutrition, feeding schedules, litter advice, kitten play behaviors, vaccination advice, neutering advice, dental advice, how to "catify" your home with scratch posts and cat shelving etc, and kitten training advice by using positive reinforcement techniques. As a special education teacher myself, she was right on point in terms of positive reinforcement. You can tell that her team all have a "calling" in life to work with kitties. You can tell when people are passionate about their professions and the staff at Exclusively Cats are top notch. The store is stocked with good quality cat supplies and toys. The care team at Exclusively Cats just earned a lifelong patient in Matthew and any future cats I should adopt. I can be a tough cat parent in terms of getting the best care for my pets. I want only the best for my pet children.

Dr. Nancy Dunkle tamed our cat from Hell! Having rescued two cats in 2006, we took advantage of an offer from a veterinarian practice that was not limited to only cats. Our female, Sparkles, became the Tasmanian Devil Cat during repeated unsuccessful attempts to restrain, collar and muzzle her by various staff and both of the doctors. None of them could contain her and it was obvious that neither vet had much patience with cats. We thought this was odd because she was totally relaxed in our home. After three very stressful office visits, we decided it was time to find another practice. Our daughter recommended “Exclusively Cats”. From the moment we walked into the office, it was evident that FINALLY here was a peaceful environment wherein our Sparkles was not cowering or growling in her carrier. Good sign! From the moment that Dr. Dunkle and her staff handled “Sparks”, it was evident that FINALLY, here was a Veterinarian practice that totally understood Cats! We now have 3 cats and wouldn’t go to any other Vet even if you paid us!

I cannot recommend Exclusively Cats Hospital in Medford, NJ, highly enough. Dr. Dunkle and her staff continue to impress me with their professionalism and caring. I am convinced that these wonderful folks extended the lives of two of my beloved elderly cats by at least two years. Another cat, who contracted cancer, was cared for with great compassion and skill as the folks at Exclusively Cats supported her and our family during her illness and final days. Dr. Dunkle is obviously abreast of the current developments in veterinary medicine. She attends several conferences each year and often mentions recent concepts which she has learned about that she thinks might be of interest to me. She holds her staff to high standards, which they fulfill. The facility is beautifully kept and there is a nice selection of toys and food, if one is looking for a cat-related present. I am looking forward to many happy years with my latest spunky kitty, under the care of Dr. Dunkle and the team at Exclusively Cats.

A great place for people who love their cats! Weve taken our cats to Exclusively Cats since 1995 and are so pleased with the care they receive. The staff is pleasant, caring, and willing to take their time so that the owner understands up front all the options and the costs. Our first three cats lived past 18 years due to the fact that Dr. Dunkle and her staff cared about them. Costs are clearly stated up front and the owner has the option of whether or not they want to have tests or procedures performed. The person from Oct. 2009 evidently did not pay attention when Dr. Dunkle was talking. The "Cats Only" option is a great stress reliever for your cat. It is a quiet, caring environment that tries to create a stress free experience for your cat. We would not be taking our cats there if we thought it was too expensive or uncaring. Do your cat and yourself a favor, go to Exclusively Cats... we still do!

When I moved to the area 10 years ago, Exclusively Cats was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. I have been bringing my cats to them ever since! I like the fact that the practice is solely for cats. I feel like Dr. Dunkle and her staff really understand cats and their owners. Even though I am an "experienced" cat person, I always come away from my visits with new insights and knowledge on how to best care for my pet. The care my cats have received has been top notch, everything from annual well visits to outpatient treatments to more serious concerns. No matter what the situation, I have always felt my cat has had the time and undivided attention of Dr. Dunkle and the team. Concerns and options have always been thoroughly explained and thought out. I highly recommend this service for any cat!

When we found out from our local vet that our 10 month old kitten had FIP, we were devastated. The vet told us there wasnt much we could do except make her feel comfortable until she passed. My fiance and I decided that we were not ready to let her go. So we reached out to Nancy Dunkle at Exclusively Cats Veterinary Hospital. We were immediately impressed with her knowledge and attention to detail. She told us there was a chance that the previous vets test could have been a false positive. She also gave us a detailed list of things that may have caused the symptoms instead of FIP. After more testing, we found out that our kitten DID NOT have FIP. Nancy was extremely pleasant to work with and was very caring of our kitten.
