Where do I begin? Situation: My girlfriend had a miscarriage and I had to rush her to the ER. After she was discharged, the ER doctor told us to follow up with her OB/GYN within 3-5 days to make sure everything had passed. She called Omni and told them everything and they said that she would just have to come in as a walk-in on Wednesday when Dr. Lopez would be there. We went in as told and we waited and were told that Dr. Lopez wouldnt see us because he was all full for that day and they told us to come back tomorrow to see Dr. Patel, which is now today. This is the first complaint I have, which really isnt that big of a deal: I have a serious issue with this, because I think a doctor who cares about his patients should make time to take care of a couple who have just lost a baby. This is just my opinion, but I guess others dont feel this way and we are just a "number" to the doctors nowadays. I understand that doctors are busy and they have to cater to every patients needs, but he could take 10 minutes out of his day to just speak to us. This is the second complaint I have, which is entirely unacceptable: We kept our appointment today with Dr. Patel. We showed up at 1pm as instructed and waited for 45 minutes in the lobby until we were finally taken to a room. They told my girlfriend to disrobe and wait for the doctor to come in. We waited in there our room for an hour and a half. I kept peeking out of the door to check on things and i kept hearing the doctor in her office, talking to people. Every room was filled up with patients and we were second in line. We decided that enough is enough, so my girlfriend got dressed and we got our paperwork back and told them that we were leaving. All the girl said to us was that Dr. Patel was new and just started with them. This is just unacceptable. I understand people need training on how things work, but they should set aside spare time for these kinds of things, or figure out some way to do it, other than making patients wait 2+ hours after their scheduled time. I can honestly say that I have never walked out of a doctors appointment. Lastly, the staff at Omni look like they hate their lives when they are working. They are not friendly, they are not social and they just work like robot drones. We were early for our appointment, but had to wait in line for 10 minutes while ALL THREE girls behind the counter did nothing. They never acknowledged anyone in the long ling that was waiting and they looked like they didnt even care. When one of the girls took us back, she told my girlfriend to go pee, so she could have a pelvic exam. I asked the girl if they are going to want a urine sample (which they usually do for an OB/GYN appointment) and she said, "oh yeah, let me get one just in case." Im glad I had to tell her how to do her job. Once we got home, I started calling around and asking doctors if they take MediCal and if they didnt, I would ask them to refer me to somewhere that does take MediCal, but IS NOT Omni. They would laugh every time and say how everyone hates Omni. I got a hold of an OB/GYN that takes MediCal and that has EXCELLENT reviews on google. We will never step foot in any Omni center ever again. If you are looking for an OB/GYN that take Healthy Familes/MediCal, contact Dr. Hans Yu. He is right there across from Omni on Brimhall and Calloway. Get your office and staff squared away Omni Medical Group.

I went here 4 times. The front desk staff are typically unhelpful and tell you to come back if you dont have an appointment, even though they take walk-ins. Even when I had an appointment, I waited for over an hour in the lobby and then another 45 minutes in a room before the doctor saw me. Went back 4 times before bloodwork was actually performed on me, when my bloodwork should have been completed the first time. They kept making excuses, kept wanting me to come back another time to do tests, answer my questions, or prescribe me things when it could have been done the first time. Its also very difficult to call any Omni health location, because they want to route you to the headquarters. Headquarters often doesnt even answer the phone.

We had appt at 4:30. They called asking if we can come earlier. Under the impression we were going to be seen right away. Not the case. We arrived at 3:40. Did not get seen till 4:30!!! My wife said the restroom was dirty, come on! Women there give urine samples all the time! Overall.. Horrible. If I could, I would have not gotten my wife pregnant, dealing with Omni has not been a great experience.

On october 7, I called and was told I could walk in on Wednesdays without appointment. After waiting an hour and a half and every patient who came in after me went in to see the doctor, they finally told me they could not see me. They had 7 waiting rooms full and 1 doctor working. They said I would have to make an appointment and I would have to wait until December. Horrible treatment all around.

No RNs to supervise, they leave incompetent medical assistants to handle important tasks and Ive even seen the doctors fed up with their incompetence. Why is a medical assistant doing health education and intake? Why did a medical assistant not scan in important paperwork needed for my chart and now I dont know if proper blood test have been done? Only a matter of time before someone sues.

I brought my son here. Was told he had 7 cavities and needed 7 fillings. I knew that wasnt right, since he had been seen somewhere else just six months ago and had 0 cavities at that time. Sure enough, I took him for a second opinion and they told me he had only one cavity. Please do not bring your children here! This dentist will drill on them just for money! HORRIBLE!!

I waited 2 hours for a 5 minute appointment. Then the doctor I saw was arrogant, rude and wouldnt let me speak unless spoken to. He refused to give me the medication Ive taken for 10 years for seizures. These "professionals" are more worried about getting their licences flagged than caring for their patients. Worst mental health facility in bakersfield.

Horrible service and doctor Who was "taking care" is a careless doctor! I went to him when i was 36 weeks pregnant I notified him he needed to remove me from work because I didnt think I was going to make it! He refused sure enough right after work I ended up in the hospital.. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Basically this place will let you walk in there and have you tell them you might have an infected kidney and they send you to a whole different facility on a whole different day they dont care about your pain....
