We moved to Stockton almost 4 years ago with two elderly cats and were devastated to have left behind an excellent veterinary group near Philadelphia, Pa. After some inquiries and recommendations, we took our cats to Bear Creek Veterinary and have been pleased ever since. Dr. Singh and his staff know how to work with animals not only medically, but also socially, which was very important to us since one of our cats was ex-feral (frightened of new experiences). They put him at ease and treated him gently. Dr. Singh provided respectful end-of-life care for our 21 year old cat who had been on fluid therapy for 5 years, and gave us excellent advice and care for our other cat (ex-feral) who sadly passed away due to complications from cancer (age 15-17). We now are "taming" two ferals, one which had kittens just after we adopted her. We have also adopted another cat from a friend who lost her home to foreclosure. All our "six new pets" either are--or will be--under the care of Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital. The Pet Portal web-service allows us to ask questions on line and the answers (from Kristen and Dr. Singh) are always thorough, understandable and prompt. The rooms are clean, and the staff members are knowledgable, respectful, and loving to their furry clients. My husband is a health care professional and pharmaceutical researcher. He is very impressed with Dr. Singh--his knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, animal behavior, and his ability to evaluate and communicate options comprehensively. It is reassuring to us, because having no children, our pets are our "kids."

Our assorted dogs have been patients at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital for over twenty years. Weve gone from puppy to old age more than once. Weve had some serious health issues and some "Did he really do that?" issues too. Honestly, I cannot say enough good about the care and compassion that Dr. Singh and his staff have shown all of us, especially when we have dealt with serious health issues and end of life. Not only are Dr. Singh and his staff excellent with the animals but they also do so well with their two-legged caretakers. All questions are answered, advice and suggestions are given, alternatives discussed. A new pup is completely examined and evaluated and in such a manner as to make it not a horrible experience for the little one. Do my dogs dash in the door at BCV with glee? No...it is a vets after all! But they dont cower or shiver either. They get some pets and loves and maybe a treat so it isnt too bad. I have stories galore but Ill simply say I highly recommend Bear Creek Vet to anyone looking for veterinary care for their four-legged family members.

Having always owned pets, I have many experiences with the local veterinary hospitals in Stockton. A good friend referred me to Dr. Singh at Bear Creek Vet after I became dissatisfied with the care my animals had been receiving. What a blessed day for us all. Dr. Singh and his staff are compassionate and skilled beyond words. My animals always acted as if they were visiting friends, quite unlike anywhere else they had ever been. In addition to the fine "above and beyond" care provided to my cat and Lab, Dr. Singh cared for my mothers little dog, Lily. She was diagnosed with a liver disorder that would normally have taken her life in a short time. Dr. Singh researched and came up with a combination of drugs which allowed Lily to live two additional years. She passed away at over sixteen years old. Dr. Singh will never offer treatment that is not necessary, he will provide gentle, loving care which helps pets to relax. Kristen, Marla and Eunice provide the warmth and genuine concern that is so vital to pet care.

I had to take my pup to Bear Creek for an emergency visit after she had a seizure. Bloodwork was done She was only 1 & 1/2 years old and I was overcharged I paid for geriatric bloodwork which is $100.00 more than for her age. My pup was then misdiagnosed and given medication that would do no good for her. I feel the Dr wrote off my pup. I was told to [phone after every seizure if she had more. I did I have a list and he never phoned. He didnt even recommend an MRI which is what she needed to be diagnosed. When the staff took my pups blood They hurt her and left horrible bruises on her neck like she was being choked and the vet tech came in the room to tell me they had not even touched her and she screamed, Not true. She had multiple puncture wounds from them. My pup was 4 lbs and did not need restraining. I have pictures. After I ended up at uc davis with her the vet from Bear Creek found out he misdiagnosed my pup and did not even apologize or refund my money. I will NEVER take another pet to this place

Me and my boyfriend just recently got a puppy. First time for both of us to have our own. We want to care for him like any other dog lover owner would. So we try hard to provide all the best that is in our reach. One day we started noticing some rashes. I started to worry because i know that theres always something you can do when its detected on time. I was looking for a place here in town, not too expensive and that could provide me with the best services. I made my research, and after calling places and gathering information, i choose Bear Creek Veterinary. They set up my appt, clean environment, punctual and great customer service. Dr. Singh answered all my questions and gave me the comfort that my dog will be better. And he did. Do not regret taking him here. The best so far, no complaints. Thanks to the wonderful staff and all the help, but especially, thanks Dr. Singh. :)

Veterinary clinic extraordinaire!!! This was my first experience with Dr. Singh and the wonderful staff at Bear creek veterinary clinic and I must say they stepped up in an emergency that I found myself in with a stray dog that decide to pick my house as a safe haven. My wife and I found a Chihuahua mix with one ear mostly chewed off from an apparent dog attack, our regular Vet. Is way outside of Lodi and we live just 1 mile from the Bear Creak clinic in north Stockton, they took us right in and did a wonderful job with what was left of this poor dogs ear. If you are looking for a great animal clinic with a wonderful, friendly and caring staff you should drop by the Bear Creak clinic on Thornton rd in north Stockton and say hello. Charley has since recovered wonderfully, thankyou to everyone at Bear creek Veterinary Clinic …Jaymz

If you are looking for an excellent veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. Singh at Bear Creek Veterinary Services in Stockton, California. Dr. Singh has taken care of my cat for well over ten years. He is a skilled diagnostician and surgeon. He genuinely cares for animals even when (like my cat!) they get a little fractious when being seen. Bear Creek is a spacious, clean facility and provides grooming services in addition to animal care, surgery and hospitalization. Dr. Singh’s staff is well trained and courteous, and they too care about the animals they see. I’ve not had a problem getting my cat in when the need is urgent. My sister also takes her cats to Bear Creek and is very happy with the care they receive.
