Dr birlew is a great dr that I have been seeing for about 15 years that office is open 7 days a week and for the better part of the day and and early evening which is convient for someone like me who has days that I cant really get out of the house be it physically or mentally and yeah it may not be great to wait a little bit but who else gives you the benefit of those hours. Not only that its one hard working dr doing those hours. I spent a week in the hospital a few years back and I know when I was admitted for one the ER dr called him about 1am to admit me then about thirty minutes later the nurses called him for my med orders only to call him back again because the pharmacy called them for an allergy 20 minutes later and then again another 20 minutes later because some of my meds were forgotten and Im just one person Imagine how much this man must work on his off hours. He gives wonderful care and is always compassionate or giving some of his humor. If you need a referral you get one which is unheard of with a lot of my friends That is someone who I will wait for quality patient care that he is trying to give to as many people as he can

I went to the Stockton Urgent Care Medical office, because my Primary Care doctor is located in Alameda, CA. I explained that I had been experiencing chest pains, headaches, and dizziness. They asked me about my insurance and I told them that I had PacificCare HMO and that I had already called the insurance to make sure I could go to the urgent care office without any problems. PacificCare gave me approval but I was turned away from the office, because Stockton Urgent Care does not see people who have an HMO insurance. I was shocked that they would turn me away, even after explaining that my chest was tight and that I was experiencing dizziness. They should not be considered an “urgent care” office, because they do not welcome all types of insurance!!!

Horrible and would probably have been worse. had they actually get the doors unlocked instead of sitting there staring at you through the windows as a lock up a half hour early just so that the girls can go out and do their thing just moved to the area and with this being my first impression I would never recommend it again. highly irritating when youre new to a town and have nowhere to go and no one to ask, highly aggravating andmost of all highly disappointing in the health care industry

Dr. Birlew is a great doctor but his office is so unorganized. I worked in a healthcare office for 25 year I know how the office should function! Ive been sent letters to come in for test results and then they cant find them! Happened twice! They have had my test results for 4 days and cant find them after I wait a hour to get them. I cant afford 2-3 visits to get results. They will not call you like other doctors with results! Have to find a new doctor. Love you Dr. Birlew!

The staff at the desk are very busy- polite , helpful. The nurses I have met are all just sweet - caring - they listened to me. Dr. Birlew is a listener. He speaks his mind , shows he truly does care by listening and diagnosing properly. An all around awesome American Doctor. He keeps his office running smoothly. This Urgent Care works as a team!!

So i showed here at 2:25. And they were cloing.. Not closed closing the Door says 3.. I need medical attention and have no ride to the hospital and they close more that 30min early.. If i could give them 0 stars i would.. Bad servive. Wouldent even give me a ride to the hospital..

I am a former patient of Dr.Birlew and I must say ,he is one of the best Dr.s in Stkn. This was back in 95 but Ill never forget how good he took care of me. I just wish this clinic took my insurance,otherwise,Id be back in a heartbeat! Thank You-

It saddens me when u walk into a facility right BEFORE they close asking to see a doctor for your very sick child and you are told "The doctor cant see her, he JUST asked me to get him out of here!" HORRIBLE

Quick, no appointment needed. Didnt have to set there for hours. X ray machine in site. Made for a quick diagnosis in house right away. Prescribe medication that works quick. Accurate diagnosis.

Stockton Urgent Care wont allow clients to voicemail or email the physician. Very odd to be in a communication blackout with service provider. I will spend my dollars elsewhere.
