Dr. Ravi and Frier may be awesome with annual checkups and dogs, but they did not handle taking care of my cat of returning phone calls appropriately with me. Not only that, after I discussed it with them, thought things were cleared up, I went two both specialists they referred me to. Completely conflicting infomartion, I called Dr Frier back to have a totally rationale conversation on his ideas and to see if the original choice Dr Ravi offered me (broad spctrum antibitoc) was still a possibility. Dr Frier was VERY sharp with me on phone call for no reason. I paused several times and said " I am tryin to finish what I am saying, I think you are misunderstanding my intention of call" he basically kept saying "what is your question heather" in some thpe of condensing tone. THIS IS NOT OK TO TALK TO PEOPLE THIS WAY WHO JUST HAD A TRAUMA AND THEIR CAT ALMOST DIED! Other errors include : dr Ravi taking 3 xrays but none of lower back veretebrae, so I had to pay for a fourth. Instead Dr Ravi said "ok I didnt know he was having trouble with sitting" However I had explained that TWICE. AND the day i brought cat in he couldnt walk. Also as mentioned 3 times no calls returned and they forgot to give me a needle for his fluids (did at home because they charge 70!!!! (Not on par with ANY vet in area pricewise ) and my sweetheart cat is an angel at home, but tough at vet, instead dr Ravi used the words "uncooperative" to describe him. That really isnt cool. The only person who was UNCOOPERATIVE truly was Dr. Frier on phone call to me and he knows it. Brought me to tears at such a hard time in my life.

My 6-mo old little girl, Elise, was spayed on July 26, 2016 and she is doing very well. Doctor Srungaram, Claire, Harriet and other clinic staff were friendly, organized, informative, patient and professional with us. They did not rush us through the process. After reading reviews and one initial visit at this clinic, I felt comfortable handing my little dog into their care. I live two hours north of this office. I didnt take my decision to come here lightly. It was a decision based on what was best for my dog. We adopted Elise and her brother from Shelter Hope Pet Shop in Thousand Oaks, 3-months ago. When I picked up Elise after her procedure I was informed of important details for her recovery and I was given written notes to take home with me. The pain meds were provided in easy to administer syringes. The next morning, Claire called me to ask me how Elise is doing and to offer assistance. Isnt that nice? The clinic is clean and pleasant. The waiting room is open, light and airy. I get the impression that the staff enjoys their work. The second day after her procedure I took pictures of her scar and I texted them to the clinic. I wanted their confirmation that everything looked good. The office staff connected me directly to Dr. Srungaram. He spoke with me, answered and asked questions and he put me at ease. Its been 15-years since Ive had a pet fixed/spayed, so I am out of practice and am being extra cautious. Thank you Doctor Srungaram and staff, for all that you do!

Since Camino is continually sending me emails and letters asking me to write a review, I figured I would go ahead and do so. The staff at Camino are very friendly and welcoming and at first seemed to care about my cat (Kitty). After the initial exam it was determined that Kitty would need a blood panel to officially diagnose the issue. They quoted me at $325 on top of the exam fee. Price was a big issue for me and I was unable to afford the blood panel so I went home and did some research. I found a veterinary office in Simi Valley that quoted a blood panel and urinary test for a total of $187. Seeing as how Camino was friendly with me, I wanted to give them the option of my business if they were willing to match that price or come close to it. They refused to do so, so I went to the other vet and saved hundreds. Kitty was diagnosed with early kidney failure and is now being treated properly. I am passionate about animals and their well-being and although the staff were friendly, I was very put off by their unnecessarily high prices and unwillingness to compromise for the sake of the animals well-being. Oh well. Nice people..overpriced.

We live in Sherman Oaks and we rescued our 2nd furry baby from Shelter Hope in Thousand Oaks last year. They recommended us to go to Camino Clinic for her vaccines and exam. The vets and all the staff were all so amazing, warm, nice and helpful that we decided we would also bring our older dog there. When we took our oldest dog to travel with us last summer, we went through some stressful moments, because of missing/outdated documents but they were so helpful and really helped us go through the whole ordeal as smoothly as possible. We were just there last week, for routine exam, vaccines and travel certificate for BOTH babies, and as always they were nice, patient and thorough! The older one had dental procedure on Tuesday, and Dr Hall and all of the staff couldnt have been nicer and patient. I would most definitely recommend them! even if they are not nearby us, it is well worth the driving! Thanks!

Dr. Frier and his entire staff at Camino Animal Clinic have provided excellent care and treatment to the three dogs whove been part of my life for the past 16 years. This clinic was recommended to me by a new neighbor when we first moved into the area, and I, in turn, have recommended them whenever Im asked about good veterinary care. The technicians are knowledgeable and their handling of my dogs is always safe and confident, the office staff are invariably polite and well organized, and the doctors who have begun their careers with Dr. Frier must be from the top of their graduating classes because I havent met a bad one in the bunch. Equipment is updated regularly, and Im sure, when a treatment is prescribed, its the best available for my dog. They are simply the best veterinary clinic in the Conejo Valley, and Ill continue to recommend them.

Theres not enough space on here to write about how much I love the staff at Camino Animal Clinic. They have gone above and beyond for my little dog and me over this last year. When I lost my only child, my world fell apart - and the stress was too much for my little dog too. She suffered a collapsed trachea and although they werent open yet, the doctor and staff rushed to meet me at the clinic, where they managed to save my dog in the nick of time. Another 10 minutes and I would have lost her too. The crisis for my dog isnt over and its been a long, hard road for her but Camino Animal Clinic has shown us both such tender mercies along the way. The medical care is excellent and has kept my dog alive against tremendous odds. She is now doing so much better than I could have hoped for and I will be forever grateful.

I had a health scare with my 7lb Chihuahua Rosie yesterday and was not sure what to do! I had been to the Camino Animal Clinic about a year ago, but hadnt been back since. I called the office while driving over, this was in no way an emergency, but seeing my little girl uncomfortable made me want to fix it asap!! The woman that answered the phone was wonderful! She assured me that the Doctor would be able to see me right away! When we got there, everyone was friendly and they took us in a room immediately. The doctor came in very soon after, and everything else ran smoothly. I am very happy with the service I received and will return for all Rosies routine and emergency appointments from now on!!
