A pair of glasses were purchased for my son and included a warranty for replacement if the lenses and/or frames were damaged. Upon trying to exercise this a few months later we were told they would not honor the warranty as they had not resolved a dispute with my Insurance company. My family has done business with Sussex eye for 4 years now. We keep our business local to support local business. We could have at any time gone to many discount national eye wear stores for our frames and lenses and paid half what we do. To see a local business preform strong arm tactics like this against a child absolutely disgusts me. All this over a billing issue with my insurance company for $15

Ive seen Dr. Sprague and Dr. Rebarchik, who are both very professional and thorough.The staff are always friendly, and are willing to go above and beyond to assist with finding out about insurance benefits. Choosing frames is always pleasant, with their technician. Ive had to have the arm of a pair of glasses repaired a few times because Im a bit rough on my glasses, having to take them on and off many times/day, given my profession. Sussex Eye Center has been very accommodating in getting my glasses repaired quickly, and even gave me a free arm when they had a spare on hand.

I was referred by my physician to Sussex Eye Center for a specific test. Although I am a patient at another eye center, this visit was super. The staff is friendly and efficient and Dr. Rebarchik was professional and cordial. He took the time to explain both the results of my test and subsequent retest. Since I had to retest, I never felt rushed by the very nice technician or by Dr. Rebarchik. Overall my experience, quite honestly was better than any visit Ive ever had with my present eye care place. I am giving serious thought to switching to Sussex Eye Center.

I have been using Sussex Eye Center for a few years now. I have used all but one of the doctors at the center and they all give such a thorough exam and sincerely care about your eyes here. I have used many other places since I moved to Sussex Co. and Sussex Eye has been the best. Its not your typical assembly line eye exam that you receive in most places. I have several eye problems going on and they always get my eyewear exact and fitting. I would also ask about the eyewear insurance plan they have when you are buying eyewear. SEC is the best

My visit was a great experience. I felt like they really cared. I didnt feel like I was just a number. The exam was very thorough with explanations and time to ask questions. Delaware has been my home for 17 years and I think I have finally found a place that has time for you and will talk to you besides treating you.
