I just want to let people know about the poor service I received from Nuccio Optometrists in Bloomingdale. I bought a deal for an exam and credit for glasses on LivingSocial. The exam was great but they wouldn’t let me used my old frames with the credit for my new glasses. The selection of frames at a decent price was very poor so I chose to have the glasses made somewhere else. When I got my new glasses they were not correct. I went back to Nuccio and after about 2 minutes they gave me a new prescription. It was immediately obvious that sloppy writing on the original prescription caused the glasses to be made wrong. Nuccio denied any responsibility since they hadn’t made the glasses themselves. They refused to remake the bad lens or to give me any money towards remaking it. I was out extra $120 because they have bad hand writing. Don’t go to Nuccio Optometrists unless you want expensive glasses.

This place is great. The workers are very smart at what they do. Its not like a Walmart where they hire random people. They are also super friendly. They do not rush you and will offer tons of help even go out of their way without you asking. When picking a frame they will help by giving advice and truthful answers not false sales answers. They also sit with you and break down the prices and insurance to the penny. They will say it many times and do not get annoid with you if you question it. One little down side is due to my personal choices. That is the selection is not the greatest. They do have a lot of frames but I am picky.

Our family has been with Nuccio for many years. The service is always friendly, professional, and efficient. If they dont have frames that suit you, they will provide links to sites they order from and get the ones you want.
