Had to use a location in the Loop so I could make it to work at a decent hour. I set up an 8:15am appointment a few days before, hoping to get in and out quickly. I did this knowing that appointments are higher priority than walk ins. I arrive a few minutes early and see a good amount of people in the waiting room. There was no sign in sheet, and someone would just open the door and yell out a name. Took me 10 minutes to finally ask the person where was the sign in sheet, another 10 to say that I had an appointment. Was told that a coworker arrive and she would take care of me. Took another 10-15 minutes for the coworker to go to the front desk. During this time, someone had been standing there for a good 15-20 minutes to ask a question, calling back behind the desk and not getting any reply. I finally get called back, and listen to the two employees to talk that the schedule system (for appointments) has not been able to print for the past few days. Also commented that 2 people stated they had 8:15 appointments and thats not possible. Personally if asked I would have shown my confirmation email sent the previous night. So instead of only being 15-20 minutes late to work I end up being late by an hour. I understand that people can be running late, so print/write out a sign that will let people know that appointments/walk-ins are running behind schedule. Im glad I went before work, can only imagine how bad this place is during lunch. There was little to no air ventilation so it did not help things either.

They get the job done, but Ive had much better service at other blood drawing labs. I usually pop in here for bloodwork before heading to work and try to make an appointment online to skip the lines when the doors open. Ive never had any problems before the last time I was there, when I was informed that I needed to pay a $35 fee. My insurance does not have a co-pay and have been repeatedly told by my HR department if a medical office tells you to pay, call HR immediately. When I told the phlebotomist this, she kept telling me that it was a deposit or something. I told her again that I never pay and she silently said under her breath, that it was just a deposit. Very weird. The other staff there arent much better, you can basically tell everyone hates their job when you enter, but what are you gonna do.

I needed to get a test just before my flight to help me with some tricky treatment decisions. They didnt have the test kit I needed (I hadnt known I should call ahead) but Pat called around and found one and then called Joanne at the next Quest lab to rush me through. Amazing service from Pat as well as real warmth and kindness at a hard time. Thank you!

Quick and efficient. Just dont come with any questions if youre there for a wellness exam. The answer is, "What ever the Company says".

Quick and easy for a walk in if you go at the right time (I went around 2 on a weekday for thyroid testing)
