I really want to give 0 stars but the option is not available. We have long waited for appointments for my wife, our baby and myself, scheduled over 3 months ago. At first sight, he was cold, rude, showed no interest for the profession he chose in life. Complete disregard for the 3 of us, really rushing to get out, mind you, the appointment was for 3:45pm. We did not receive a bear minimum level of attention one would expect, as if he was doing a favor against his will. This doctor was a joke to my family and also poorly represented many other respectful professionals of his field. I truly felt I was robbed $100 off of co payments for 3 appointments that combined lasted less than 15 minutes. I would NOT recommend this doctor, ever. Total waste of time, money and expect no true care. When a family seeks out for a doctors help, there are serious reasons for it. Complete waste, stay away.

Every time I left his office I felt extremely frustrated. I was on Accutane so I had to continue my treatment with him for 6 months, visiting monthly. He always seemed to be in a rush. Every time I had a question or a concern he wouldnt fully answer my questions, and when Id ask for further clarifications he would just repeat what he said. For example, I asked for advice on daily routines after Accutane and he said "just wash your face daily"...obviously. Then when I asked for clarification on lotions, acne treatments ect. he said "just wash your face, you wont have acne." No product suggestions, nothing. He is extremely impersonal and Im 55% sure he is a robot.

Ive only had one appointment with Dr. Lovett for acne and acne scars on my face. Hes not very personable and I felt a little rushed. It was also busy and he was a little backed up so that might have contributed to it. It also takes a few months to make an appt but I heard thats common for dermatologists. I felt like he was quick to prescribe an oral medication and thats not exactly what Im looking for. I saw a dermatologist several years ago who would remove blackheads and treat my face while in the office. I suppose I was expecting that. I gave 3 stars because Ive only seen him once and Id like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

One star as not giving one is NOT an option. Not personable at all! Looked at me, diagnosed me based off of looking at my hair type and handed me a sheet of paper. I expressed concern for other areas of my hair as I had some medical issues as I did some research, and he said Im the Dr. Here. I just walked out. All this under 10 minutes! Total waste of time...I refuse to pay the deductible!

Dr. Lovett is WONDERFUL!!! I got an appt right away (early morning). I found him extremely personable and thorough. He helped me by taking me off an Rx my PCP had wrongly prescribed and knew exactly the right treatment. I look forward to seeing him and highly recommend.

Bad experience with this doc. Took my mom for an appointment, he got in the room, did not introduce himself, did not make eye contact, did a skin biopsy which ended up infected, overall I dont recommend.
