This place is absolutely amazing. Let me tell you my story. It doesnt have a happy ending, but my incredibly positive experience with this veterinary office makes it hurt a lot less. My boyfriend and I had a very, very ill kitten, Duke, who was declining quickly. Not eating or drinking, labored breathing, pale gums, could hardly even stand. I was so scared, and I was going down the list of veterinary offices that came up on Google and calling each one, trying to find a place that would be able to hospitalize him overnight. When I finally called Park Animal Hospital, it was only ten minutes before they closed for the evening, and I explained the situation and the receptionist was so kind and understanding and was happy to accommodate me. Even though I would be coming in about fifteen minutes after they closed because of the drive, she said, "Its okay, Ill stay until you get here." When I arrived, she had already called my previous vets office and received the bloodwork that Duke had gotten a few days earlier. The overnight emergency veterinarian who was available (Dr. Reed, if memory serves) had already examined it, and she came out to help in less than ten minutes. The bloodwork looked very, very grim, and suggested that Duke may have come down with feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), a virus that has a mortality rate of 100% in young cats. The vet was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, addressed all my concerns, and prepared me for the potential worst-case scenario. She offered to do a test that would confirm whether or not FIP was the case, told me the cost up front, and was incredibly professional, realistic, and empathetic. I asked for him to get tested, and the test came up positive. She gently explained the severity of the situation and that Duke would most likely pass on overnight whether or not he was hospitalized. I became an absolute wreck, sobbing so hard that I couldnt even speak. The vet gave me time to process the information and left us in the room for a few minutes while I called my boyfriend and shared the bad news. He also became an absolute wreck. I told the vet that I would take him home, and made an appointment to get him euthanized the following morning. She explained how to reach her directly through the emergency phone number in case we decided to bring him in earlier. There were tears in her eyes, too. A a courtesy, I wasnt charged for the FIP test or the x-rays that were taken, only the after-hours exam fee. My boyfriend and I brought Duke back in a couple hours later, after we cuddled him and said our goodbyes, and the veterinarian who was so kind to me earlier was the one who helped him pass on to a greater peace. After all was said and done, she expressed her condolences and gave me a big hug. Im crying as I write this, but I wanted to share my experience with anyone who may be looking for a better vet. Even though the situation itself was unbelievably difficult, the professionalism, knowledge, kindness, empathy, and absolute compassion of the people at this office made it stand out above and beyond any other vet I have ever been to. I will be bringing my other cat and any future fur-children here from here on out. Thank you, Park Animal Hospital staff. Youre extraordinary.

I called Park Animal Hospital as I always do to order my dogs heart medication. Also to get his nails clipped. I head there the staff is very friendly as usual. But the frustrating factor is that, they give me the wrong medication for my dog. So I head back to the hospital and I let them know that they gave me the incorrect medication. So the young lady heads to the back and she was gone for quite some time. Once she returns, she notifies me that the medication is not in stock and that it has been ordered but she doesnt know when it will arrive. So I let her know that I will cancel the order and get a refund. The young lady takes my card runs it through the system and I proceed to ask for a receipt that shows my credit. She heads to the back for quite some time when she returns back to the front she tells me there is a problem. Someone will come to the front and discuss this with me. So te young lady that clipped my dogs nails come up and explains the medication is not in stock. So I kindly let her know that I am aware of that, and I am simply requesting a refund. So she leave ad some else comes to assist me. The lack of communications is so poorly!! So the next young lady tells me that the credit has been applied. I receive a call from this Jessica letting me that she has tried to solve the issue and that she will call me back tomorrow. So I check with credit institution and they let me know that no credit was applied. I called back Park Animal Hospital and requested to speak to Jessica but the youndlady that answered the call told me that she was already gone for the day. What a waste of time!! The staff needs better communication skills. So frustrated rigtht now!!!

We highly recommend Park Animal Hospital to friends, family and strangers!!! Staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient with our hyper huskies. They are clear and concise with the cost and are always careful with instructions and explanations. They are sure to satisfy questions and concerns about our dogs, in person and over the phone. Our dogs love going to Park Animal Hospital, whenever we pull up they know where they are and are jumping to go inside and get loves and tummy scratches. Dr. Park and Dr. Erickson are great doctors, they listen to our concerns and are always willing to do what is best for our pets, and our situation. Lara (sorry if this is spelled wrong) is our preferred tech, because our last visit went after hours and she and the Dr were more than willing to stay a little late to take care of our dogs and everything else we needed that day. Even though there has been some employee turnover recently, Park Animal Hospital is still concerned with customer satisfaction and the old timers listen to our concerns to help their establishment run smoother, its nice not to hear the excuse, they are new so they do not know better, instead we hear, they are new but we will let them know what they can do better. Its nice to have an establishment take criticism and feedback to improve performance. We love Park Animal Hospital and drive quite a ways to see them, we will continue to see them for years to come. Just wanted to say thank you to Lara again for always being great with our hyperactive huskies and making it an environment our dogs love coming to.

A little stingy when it comes to the money, but where it really matters they will work with you. Besides that ONE issue, they are freakin fantastic vets! ^Original review. New Review: Let me say this about the actual vets. They are amazing, simply fantastic and they know what the crap they are doing. It seems however their love for pets does not extend to their staff. Every time i go in they expect you to pay for everything, including unexpected expenses such as new medication or random tests upfront. I called them today to try and schedule a time to have my dog looked at and possibly put down, and all i got from the lady was this "Oh... make sure you can pay for everything when you come it this time. It will be 120 for the meds probably, and 60-80 for the visit depending.". The staff there is HORRIBLE when it comes to money, providing timely service, and listening to you. Speak with the vets they will get you taken care of, dont speak with the crappy receptionist ladys. They refused to put my dog who is suffering and over 15 years old down because we cant afford the full 250 up front. Instead they offered us anti - diarrhea medication to try and help her get through the symptoms until she dies.... wtf?! I have been a customer for well over 6 years. Now i will never go back with any of my pets.
