As long as you dont need quality care, this place will do the trick, I guess. I have been there for Rx refills... meds I normally get prescriptions for 6-12 months for. But apparently, Patient First considers themselves an urgent care and wont do refills for more than a month or 2 so you can get to your "regular" doctor (even if you tell them you want them to be your primary care physician). My husband had a similar experience. OK, so what are they for... well, not that. Two weeks ago my daughter was complaining of ankle/foot pain. I was fairly certain it was tendonitis and told her to stay off it and all that jazz, but she didnt (of course) and the complaints escalated. As she is a competitive gymnast, I began to wonder if she may have done something more serious. I took her to Patient First because they could take an Xray, which they did (note: they can only take a particular type of Xray - the ones that will find the clear breaks, nothing more). They said what I knew - not a break, probably not a fracture, stay off the ankle. We got more helpful advise from the coach about icing, a brace she could wear (even in competitions), etc. Now that the competitions are behind us for many months, we have taken her out of gymnastics but this active kid is not slowing down, so I am not sure its helping. Then yesterday, I brought her in for "Swimmers Ear". I knew what she had, and knew what I needed. He confirmed the diagnosis and wrote the script. Heres where it gets frustrating. They had the med in stock, but they said it was expensive, that my copay is $45, and they suggested I go elsewhere. I said if my copay is $45, going somewhere else isnt going to change that. He printed the receipt and told me to shop it around. I checked several things (yay iPhone) and determined I was right. I gave the script to the girl out front and asked how to have it filled. She was confused because I didnt have a basket and she went to get help. (???) After several minutes someone else came, I told her what I needed, she disappeared and came back and said "Its going to be $45 here, you should go elsewhere." I explained it was going to be $45 anywhere because thta was the copay for my insurance. She said she didnt know if they took my insurance (then why would they have quoted me the copay?). I told her to find out. She said she couldnt. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Whatever. At some point, you have to give up, right? I went to another pharmacy where they didnt have the med in stock. I called 5 others. No one else has it in stock. Great. So I ended up having to leave it there and let them order the med, so I can pick it up today. Whats a day without antibiodics? Well, considering in 24 hours they usually make a difference, its something. Patient First. As long as you are smart enough to handle your own medical care, including billing and insurance issues, its great. If you must rely on them to do ANYTHING, or to give you advice, go elsewhere.

If I could give this review 0 stars i would. I came to this place hoping to get my UTI cured that Ive been having for days. As I walk in to do my urine tests, the workers themselves would look at you and laugh and make it VERY obvious that they are gossiping about you. Then, as I wait for the doctor to arrive and examine me, she offered to give me a pregnancy test. At first I was shocked at the thought of it and told her that there is no way that I am pregnant. I explained that i am sexually active but there is no way whatsoever that I am pregnant. She still insisted that I allow them to test my urine for a chance of pregnancy. I agreed to it thinking that there is no way I am pregnant. She came back a while later and claimed that I was pregnant. I was SO shocked that I didnt even know what to say. I asked her over and over again if that test was accurate. She claims that yes, there is no way the test would lie. Then she gave me papers and recommended a doctor that apparently could council me about pregnancy but not about choices on what I could do with the baby. As I wait on the waiting room before I leave, I saw the guy that does the lab tests standing at the doorway with another nurse I assume, and makes it very obvious as he whispers to the nurse that they are talking about me. I came home that day very stressed out and fearful for me, my boyfriend, and my possible child. I ended up telling my boyfriends dad the situation and he offered to take me to an abortion clinic 2 days later. When we went there, I had to emotionally suffer and felt so shameful that I was even there in the first place, being an 18 YEAR OLD still in high school. After what felt like forever in the waiting room, I was called in by one of the ladies at the abortion clinic and when she closed the door, she asked me if I was sure I was pregnant because her test for my urine came back negative for pregnancy. I told her that I was informed by PATIENT FIRST that I was DEFINITELY pregnant because certain hormones or whatever showed up. I then took a sonogram test just to definitely know if I am pregnant or not. I saw the sonogram screen myself. I wasnt pregnant. There was no conception or anything in my uterus. 5 days later, I got my period. Not only that but a few days after I came in to Patient First, they called and informed my mother that she had to go to CVS and pick up NEW medication for my UTI because the ones that THEY gave me apparently doesnt work for my UTI. So why would they give it to me anyway? And why would they claim that I am pregnant when I am not? This is the worst place anyone will go to and I do not recommend it at all. I wouldnt even recommend it to my enemies. They caused me so much stress and money as well just because they did not thoroughly check their information.

Im giving Patient First 1 star for a particular doctor. Dr Azra Hadi is an awful doctor. Horrible bedside manner, laughing about my condition to the nurse and never coming back into the room after the initial consult. I suffer from migraines and my last resort to getting rid of a wicked migraines that Ive had for all day with no relief from my prescribed migraine medication is to go to urgent care. I hate going bc I never know what doctor Ill get and whether or not theyre understanding of migraines. Last night I went. I was into the reception area immediately and taken back pretty fast. It was 9:30 at night and not busy. I told the nurse why I was there and I waited 20 minutes for Dr Hadi to come in. She had a mask on and greeted me very coldly. (Ive seen her before and had the same experience.) She acted like I was an inconvenience and wasting her time. Clearly a doctor who doesnt understand migraines and people who suffer from them. No empathy. She flipped on the lights bc she had too, no she didnt. Lights are a migraine suffers worst enemy. She then told me I had to sit up, the whole time I had my eyes closed or had my hands covering my eyes. I briefly looked at her to see what she was about to do and she had a light and wanted to look in my eyes. I told her not too. So she said had to check my ears, nose and throat. For a migraine? She asked me some questions, all very coldly asked. And then asked what I wanted. Um, I cant think, my head feels like its going to explode. I want something to take the pain away, Ive been there before months (6 months) ago, look at my past records, which I had to tell her to do. And then proceeded to tell her what I needed, which should be her job. The nurse came into give me two shots, I laid there for awhile to let the meds kick in. The nausea meds worked, the migraine med took off the edge. The nurse came back in, asked how I was and I told her, she relayed the message to Dr Hadi, which I heard and heard them laughing about it and the nurse came back in and said Dr Hadi said to "go home." And then said, Ill see if she is going to prescribe anything, I waited a bit for her to come back and she never did. I walked out of the room, Dr Hadi was sitting at the computer, never looked up, didnt say a thing to me, no pieces of papers that Ive received in the past. And I was on my way. Bottom line, Ill ask in the future to not have Dr Hadi be my doctor. She has the worst bedside manner. Migraines arent a joke, she needs to be more sympathetic to people who suffer from them.
