I am 56, a disabled veteran with PTSD and I suffered a Aortic Dissection with a stroke. Those two combined have turned me into a hermit with bad short term memory. First Light has been a absolutely wonderful answer to my needs. The staff that came to the house to interview me were friendly and very helpful, attentive and sympathetic to my needs. Also their terms of service and cost are the most favorable in this industry. And I did my research on cost, service and reputation. The did a exceptional job on ensuring the caregiver they assigned me matched my needs and I believe they also took care to find someone who matches my personality. My caregiver is a absolute angel and it feels like we are old friends. I also approve of the fact this company invests in their employees by providing up to date training and certifications at no cost to the employee. They also treat their employees as a person not a number. This not only motivates the caregivers it is the hallmark of great leadership from the owners. You will be very pleased using this exceptional local business.

I highly recommend FirstLight Home Care. The staff assisted my mother and our family to gain the help we needed for my father who recently was diagnosed with Alzheimers. For the last few months one of their highly qualified staff has come in and stayed with my father so my mother could work, getting shopping done and attend medical appointments without worrying about my dad. Now my mom and dad can have quality time together and some of the stressers that occur have lessoned. My mom is more relaxed and enjoying her time with my dad again.

Sarah and Callie have been very helpful during this stressful time of caring for my mom. The ladies they send to help care for her are attentive and carry out all the needs I have asked for the day. I am at ease knowing someone trained is with my mom while I am at work and cant attend to her.
