Dan is hands-down the best mental health provider I have ever encountered. He is incredibly insightful, understanding, and supportive. He also has a great sense of humor that made me really look forward to our time together. Prior to Dan, I had no experience with a male provider and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how well we connected. He really helped me develop self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-compassion. Originally I saw Dan for individual therapy, but I decided to also try couples counseling after we discussed how my fiancé and I might benefit. My fiancé was initially very hesitant to pursue counseling, in part because of a bad past experience. However, Dan created a very comfortable environment that put us both at ease. He helped us work through major obstacles in our relationship, develop more effective communication, and learn how to problem-solve as a couple. My fiancé had such a positive experience that he wanted to keep seeing Dan long after we resolved our issues! The fact that Dan inspired my fiancé to pursue further personal growth and development speaks volumes about Dan’s abilities as a therapist. Sadly I am moving and will no longer be able to see Dan, but I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to work with him. Not only did Dan help me work through my struggles in the moment, but he also helped me develop strategies and coping mechanisms that will continue to benefit me in the future. I would highly recommend Dan as a therapist for both individual and couples counseling.

Recently I brought my young adult son in to meet Dan Goldstein, and thought I would hear the same things that we have been told for many years about his attention and processing issues. What I didnt expect was that Dan would spend an incredible amount of time interviewing my son, writing up an 18 page report, and offering extremely out of the box suggestions for helping him in real ways. Dan is easy to talk to, listens extremely well, and has a passion for what he does. He connected with my son when I didnt think that was possible. I cannot recommend him highly enough. After spending 15 years going from psychologist to psychologist, with little results to show from it, we finally have real tangible suggestions and my son has a new outlook on life. Thank you Dan!
