I am not somebody who takes time to write a review unless I am over-the-top impressed. I’m writing today about NextCare and the outstanding quality of care they provide. My friend called me in August when he was ill. There is nothing worse than hearing someone needs care in CO and you are 1,000 miles away. I called several clinics and was so unimpressed with their coldness and lack of concern. And then I called NextCare and from the first conversation with the person who answered the phone I knew I was done searching. With an unexpected medical situation occurs you have one chance to get it right. I referred him to NextCare and hoped for the best. He immediately went to the clinic, was able to be seen within 20 minutes of arriving and received exceptional care. He was so impressed with the doctor who compassionately listened to his concerns and was able to provide some relief. It takes A LOT to impress him and he couldn’t have been more complimentary about the front desk person, nurses and doctor. They got him feeling better that night and I was so thankful that my intuition on the clinic was right. Today he had to go back for another medical concern and saw a different physician but received the same outstanding care that he did back in August. Dr. Pagno, thank you for everything you did for him today. He is so appreciative! Im super fussy about where I go for health care and I expect the same for people I love. If you are looking for quality care and doctors who are knowledgeable, personable, kind and respectful, this is the place to go! I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it!

I have been to this place a couple of times and there hadnt really been any issues. However, the last time I went there, and I say last because I will not go back, was a different experience. They refused to see me even as I began to have a panic attack in their lobby. The receptionist was extremely snooty with me and instead of helping me, just repeated its their policy. She wouldnt let me talk to anyone else and had zero compassion and made it obvious that she couldnt care less. I was really disappointed and upset. So I went to On Point Urgent Care up the street off Smoky Hill by the 470. Unlike Nextcare, who had no one in their lobby(and now I know why), On Point was clean and had a lobby full of patients, yet were able to see everyone quickly, including me. The nurses and the doctors were so caring and were genuinely concerned for me and were able to help me with everything I needed. Plus, I didnt have any co-pay with my Medicaid, while the times I went to Nextcare they charged me a co-pay. Dont waste your time going to Nextcare. On Point is cleaner, nicer, friendlier, and actually cares about you. Notice how Nextcare mostly just responds to comments on here that are 5 star? That says a lot.

My wife went in with the possibitly of having a broken toe. Exrays were taken and initial diagnosis from the PA was that there were no broken bones. They did send to a radiologist for second opinion. Long story short, they entered the wrong phone number in there system for my wife (303 area code rather than the 360 area code written on the admission form). They tried calling, and got a "not in service" and left it at that. NO ADDITIONAL RESEARCH done to find out the correct phone number (my number is in their system as well). Also, my wife called 3 days later and the person she talked to was not aware of the fact that they had tried to call her with no success. Kind of screwed up in my opinion. I highly discourage going to this facility for any critical medical conditions. An error such as the one that occured with my wife is not acceptable. We will see what the outcome is for my wife, but Im not impressed with how things were handled. They may be OK for common cold/flu symptoms, but I wouldnt recommend them for much beyound that.

I have had 2 experiences with this place. I had read reviews that in a pinch this place would do for minor emergencies. I went there and had a pleasant visit. Dr. Bichon gave me peace of mind. I just recently had a visit with the infamous Dr. Childers... let me just say, did that man get his medical license from a Cracker Jacks box?!?!?! He diagnosed me with a sinus infection, but did not even bother to look in my nose! Then when I called back to ask a question about how long it should take before the antibiotics he prescribed made me feel better, it was as if I had called his decision as a doctor into question! He told me to wait 6 DAYS for the medicine to work! Are you kidding me? Would any of you parents accept that as a reasonable answer if your child was miserable? Id say skip it altogether unless its the only thing you can find... Youre much better off going to another doctor or urgent care and paying the extra money for expert advice.

I was seen at Nextcare for a wrist injury a month ago and the provider I saw suggested physical therapy. I dont have a primary care and have medicaid. I was told that i would most likely need to follow up with my primary care to get the referral sent. I called and spoke with their referral person for nextcare I believe her name was Heather and she offered to help me with the referral but it could take her a week or two. within two days the physical therapist called me and i was in the next day. I really appreciate her help and would like to thank the doctor lindsay for her kindness and respect. I dont remember the rest of the staffs names but they were all wonderful and would recommend this place to friends and family.

After moving to the area, and without a clue about local Doctors, I used Piney Creek Medical for several urgent appointments. The Doctors there, with the exception of Dr. Bichon, were incredibly, horribly awful. From the front desk through every step of my visits, I felt like an interloper. I really dont know how they stay in business. The Drs and staff need a refresher in basic human interaction skills. Yuck. Avoid them unless you are sure that Dr. Bichon will be the attending physician. OH, and dont EVEN try to get a prescription renewal without coming in. Not even one day of necessary medication can be had without a visit. Seriously, I cant say enough bad things about them. Can you rate them with negative stars??

While my experience with the staff the evening I went to be treated was great, the follow up was horrific. My insurance would not cover the brand of inhaler they prescribed, and rather than working with me, I was given repeated excuses, including "We normally just write the prescription and if its not covered, thats between you and your insurance carrier. We dont write a new one." I ended up going into a full asthma attack while on the phone with them and had to hang up to deal with the emergency. They never even bothered to call back to make sure I was okay. Ill never return.
