While I was caring for my out-of-state grand son & his dog Lucia, a mild-tempered sweetheart of a Pit Bull, she was attacked by an American Bull Dog at Covell Dog Park and visibly appeared to be ok. Come 3 days later, on one of their busiest days (a Saturday), she had noticeable lumps and redness at her throat area where shed been bitten. Despite their busy schedule and that she was not an animal client of theirs, they fit her in, shaved and cleaned the wound areas, treated her with topical & oral antibiotics and sent me off at a reasonable $50. Id been using them since I moved to MI and they have always been able to get me in at a time convenient for me, been very reasonably priced and never make me feel rushed or my pets uncomfortable.

I have gone to Plymouth Road for my dogs care for the last four years, for my youngest dogs whole life. I was unhappy with the impersonal treatment I got from our last vet. I have been so happy with this vet. I have had experience with each of the three doctors there, and although I have my favorite, they are all wonderful and caring. My clumsy dog has had her share of "emergencies". She is my baby and I expect and want the best for her. I have never been disappointed. Two years ago I moved 25 miles away from this clinic, I made the choice to keep taking my dogs there for their veterinary care. I continue to be happy with that decision.

Ive been to a few vets in the area and highly recommend this clinic above others. I consistently leave feeling as though they truly care about the health and well-being of my cats and assured that theyre not trying to rip me off with extra fees for unneeded procedures/meds. I once had to bring in my cat for a chipped tooth, and the vet did a full body exam while and talking to and petting him, which she told me was just to get him comfortable with her before she went poking around in his mouth. All the vets Ive met there seem equally as knowledgeable and kind!

I have been a been a client at PRAC 30 years. I have always been so pleased with the care given to my dogs. They are reliable and kind and I value my relationship with not only the doctors, but all their staff. One of the most important values is that they do not try to up-sell you products or services you dont need. From puppyhood to the dreaded end of life decisions, they are so supportive, professional and caring. I would truly give them the highest recommendation to anyone looking for quality veterinary care.

The vet was awesome, and I received a really good vibe from her. She seemed to actually care about the animal. No extra products were pushed on me, and the prices were WAY cheaper than any vet we have ever gone to. My cat was back to normal after a couple days, perfect diagnosis! Also, I was a new client and somehow got in within a few hours of calling. This place is amazing, and I will take all my animals here for as long as I live in the area. Thank you so much!

Definitely one of the best vets in Grand Rapids. I take both of my cats there, and there is always little to no wait to see the doctor. All of the veterinarians seem to really care about the animals and take the time to explain the procedures to me. While the vet staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the receptionists are not always the friendliest, but I guess no business is perfect. All in all, I highly recommend their office.

I took my cat after signs of illness. After a couple visits, surgery was the only option. The veterinarian took her own day off to come in and help with the surgery. I hesitate to say but even a couple treatments were even given intentionally free. The illness ended up being cancer and my cat had to be put asleep. After all that, I do not have any regrets over the vet I chose. They have caring and generous people.

I have taken my cats and dogs there for over 15 years and would never go anywhere else. After moving to Chicago I STILL ended up taking my dog to see them when I was in town visiting because I like them so much better than the vet in Chicago. Guess what? Dr. Lemke was SO thorough and ended up prescribing 2 other meds for my dog that he was "surprised" the Chicago vet hadnt done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Im new to Grand Rapids so finding a vet as good as the one Id known all my cats lives was important to me. The vet was prompt and sooo helpful and wonderful with my kitty. We brought our dog to her and she was wonderful with her too!!! When we went to check out both times... I was sooo surprised at how low the costs were!! Im sold on this vet office for life!

In the 1980s and 90s, I had cats and brought them to Plymouth Road Animal Clinic. I added dogs in the 2000s. This clinic offers compassionate, thorough, expert care without the ridiculous frills. When I lived closer to some of the more "upscale" vet clinics, I still brought my pets to Plymouth Road--because theyre focused on all the right things.

Questioning what vet to go to? CHOOSE THEM! This has been the best experience that weve ever had, hands down. Theyve been completely wonderful with our ageing cats, and our new dog. They are very supportive when you have to make hard decisions, and super informative so that we felt that we had all the facts as pet parents.

They were always very helpful. I had Dr. Christen take care of my dog. Everything is reasonably priced from the services to the treatments. I would even call the vet up in the middle of the day and she would get back with me. I would recommend this place.

Best pet care in the city. Weve utilized several clinics over the years, based usually on proximity to our home. PRAC staff is caring, compassionate, professional, and affordable. Since weve found them, I cannot imagine bringing our pets anywhere else.

Best place to take your animals!! My dog is on the crazy, hyper side and everyone loves him and treats him so good. It makes me feel good and I know that he is taking well care of.
