Misty Day
I have been having severe pain in my foot since the second week in December. By the 14th the pain was nearly unbearable so I made an appointment with this clinic to find out what was going on. The Dr. (Moser) examined my foot and determined the symptoms were likely gout. She ordered blood work to confirm the diagnoses and an x-ray to rule out fracture or other structural issues. She then prescribed me a medication specific to gout. After my visit with her I went down to the lab for the x-ray and blood work and was sent on my way. I started the medication on the 16th and took it for three days. In those days I was so nauseous I could barely get out of bed. I could barely hold down food or my other medications. I stopped taking it on Monday and left a message for a nurse to call me back. When I hadnt received a call by Tuesday, I called back and was able to talk with a nurse. I explained the side effects and was told she would call me back. She called back and said to stop the medication and that the dr would call in a different prescription to my pharmacy. I asked about the results of my testing and she confirmed that I did not, in fact, have gout. She then told me that I was being referred to a podiatrist and I needed to go to their urgent care to been seen for one of the side effects (heart palpitations and high resting pulse) I went to urgent care and was told to stop the medication and sent on my way. Heres where things get incredibly frustrating and unacceptable for me. I called the pharmacy to see if my new prescription was ready and was told the dr. prescribed me one tablet of a medication that I already have and is completely irrelevant to why I came to the dr in the first place. The pharmacist said she would call the dr. to find out what was going on. Later that night I received a call from a nurse saying that the dr. wasnt going to prescribe a replacement medication and gave me the number to the podiatrist (which wasnt even a working number) She treated me like some kind of junkie for asking for the dr to prescribe something different and told me to take ibuprofen! When this upset me, she said she would speak with the dr. and call me back the next day. I didnt receive a call the next day, so I CALLED BACK AGAIN. Got the same run around and was finally called back (yesterday evening 7 days since I first saw the dr.) and told if I was in that much pain I would need to schedule ANOTHER appointment or go to urgent care. During this entire week, I have not once been asked how I was feeling. I have not received an apology for what Ive been put through. I have received an automated phone call EVERY NIGHT at dinner time asking me to complete a survey. In my 41 years on this earth I have never been treated with such little dignity or respect. I have an appointment with a podiatrist on January 4th. By then it will have been a month since the pain in my foot began. I cant drive my car because the pain of braking is unbearable. I cannot lift my child onto her diaper changing station. I cannot carry a load of laundry up or down the stairs. My husband who works 60 hours a week has had to come home and help me with daily chores because of this. I will NEVER step foot into this three ring circus of a doctors office ever again. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for the way I have been treated. Where I come from, Drs are there to help and care for patients, not treat them like some kind of junkie looking for drugs. I hope you people can pull it together for the sake of all the other poor patients that grace your clinic.

Very disappointing experience with this clinic. Our doctor is good, but the nurses and other staff are very impersonal / cold. We went in excited to find out the gender of our baby, and scheduled an appointment when we were told. However, the ultrasound tech not only killed any bit of excitement by asking us why we came in so early, but then continued the appointment with little to no enthusiasm. She also spent maybe 2 minutes at best trying to find out the gender of our baby. Ive heard so many people talk about how much fun that appointment is, but I left wondering what the hell that was all about. It was the complete opposite of exciting, and definitely wasnt fun.

First time to this clinic for us, everyone from the front desk to nurses to the doctor in the Pediatrics clinic was truly excellent! In the middle of checking in my son decided it was a bathroom emergency. The front desk attendant offered to make arrangements for us to check in fast. When we returned from the bathroom the nurse was there ready and waiting. The nurse made a real connection with my son a short period of time, he felt comfortable and giggle a bit thanks to her. The doctor took the time to explain to me anything I asked about and engaged really well with my son. I couldve asked for a better experience. Thank you!

My wife and I have gone to the Carlson clinic for a number of years. We have been very pleased with the doctors and nurses whom we have seen. All have gone out of their way to do what they can to assist. We could not have asked for better service.

Friendly staff, great doctors. I have been a patient of Eric Locher and Kathleen Ringhoffer-both are fantastic. Highly recommend!
