i bought a new puppy coupon book from Petsmart and it had a coupon for a free exam at the Banfield clinic. I scheduled an appt 2 days later (Thursday) and when we got there i was asked if we had any concerns about the new puppy. I told them we had lost our last pet to heartworms and the reason she was there is to get her protected for heartworms. When they came in the offered their well puppy insurance package but I told them that she would be going to our regular vet and that I had bought the book with the free exam coupon. The vet looked her over and did a parasite test and a fecal test. I told her she was current on her shots and I would have records as soon as her previous owners got back from vacation. She suggested Trifexis, I told her that I would be orderering the trifexis through 1800 pet meds. "No problem, they will contact us and you will get the needed meds". I get home and ordered Thursday morning. On Friday afternoon 1800 pet meds emails me and says that they havent recd anything back from Banfield and asked if I would contact them. So I called and was told that they (Banfield) havent recd anything from 1800pet meds. I was given a fax number so gullible me said "it must be the fax number". I email 1800pet meds back, give them the fax number I was given and was hoping the needed meds would be shipped before the weekend but NO, I get another email on Monday from 1800pet meds stating that Banfield told them that Sadie needs to be tested first!!! I call our regular vet and told them the situation and was told that puppies under 6 months of age are not generally tested for heartworms. I called Banfield and was told the vet wanted to test her. Was Monday a better day for testing than lets say Thursday???? I would need to bring her back to the vet (40 miles) and have her tested. I asked what the test cost and was told $15, sounds very reasonable. I then asked about the exam visit and was told that she would have to find about that and would call me back. I scheduled with our vet Tuesday morning, was seen in less than 2 hours. I told them of the Banfield ordeal and she was examined, fecal tested and we left with a script for the heartworms and a sample of the trifexis to protect her until her meds came in!!! Thats the difference between a corporate and a local, family owned, caring and compassionate company. They also did all this at no charge. She will be back in 2 weeks for her next round of shots! Oh yea and today is Thursday and they finally called back, probably because I filled out the survey they sent me about our visit. They would do the test and not charge me for the office visit. I got out of this ordeal better than most, you should always check the reviews on a company before you deal with them. I dont understand why companies cant just do whats right!! SHAME ON YOU BANFIELD!!! Ill let everyone know about our visit!!

Very rude, treated my wife very disrespectfully, and straight up ripped her off. They refused to listen to any suggestions from us about our dog that is sensitive to certain medications and basically forced trifexis down our throat. Its clear that this place is there only for money, from what I have gathered they have a deal with trifexis as thats almost all they prescribe. Petsmart will not be receiving my business while this place still operates there.

I was a little skeptical going in but Dr. Gant and the whole staff at Banfield were fantastic. They took great care of my Lou and gave me all the information I needed. Dr. Gant took the time to answer all of my questions and address all of my concerns and never made me feel rushed. Since Dr. Jen had to close Happy Tails, I will be taking Lou to Banfield for everything.

Terrible place! Not there for you when you need it! Have to have an appointment apparently? I mean usually people need to go to a place like this when theres an emergency...dont bother with this rude, messed up place, they arent here to help you or your pet obviously...get straight to WoolMarket emergency clinic!!!!

My dog was sick and had a mild seizure. I drove 15 minutes to this place because it was Sunday and no where else was open. They refused to help because "I did not have an appointment". This place is a descrace and has no right to call itself a pet hospital. They do not care and PetSmart should be ashamed.

WORST place to ever bring an animal. The doctor made it very obvious all she was looking for was money, very rude.
