You may get overcharged; exam isnt thorough; they dont trust their fellow doctors; staff isnt informed or very concerned. Details follow: 1) Know all of your co-pays etc.. They werent billing me correctly & my bill would have been much higher if I hadnt known my policy. 2) I told Dr. about severe sore throat & palate that was keeping me awake. He did strep test (negative) and decided I had a sinus infection. So he ordered antibiotics. I had to ask what he was going to do about my sore throat & THEN he decided to give me a steroid shot ($38). He never looked up my nose and when I did I discovered an enormous polyp. 3) When my infection had improved greatly (but wasnt completely gone) & I ran out of antibiotics (they prescribed for 10 days) I called the office to request a refill. The receptionist stated all I needed to do was have the pharmacy fax in a request. I verified there wasnt anything else I needed to do. I spent a day ( I should have taken one that morning but didnt have one & consistency with antibiotics make a huge difference) checking between the dr. office (which I verified received the fax) & pharmacy (checking for the status of the refill) trying to get them to order the refill. The receptionist kept telling me that the dr. hadnt had a chance to order it yet. 15 minutes prior to their closing time I called and asked again & expressed my concern that the doctor wouldnt do it prior to leaving. The receptionist stated in a very unconcerned tone that he might not. He didnt. The next morning I called as soon as they opened and the receptionist said the dr. would have to check into it. I asked how long it would take this time & she said quite a while, the room was packed and he had to finish with his patients first. My husband then called and asked how busy were they if he needed to come in right away & they said his wait would only be about 30 minutes. I was shocked when they actually called me about an hour & a half later. Unfortunately they said that the doctors policy was that he would not refill an antibiotic without seeing me. Why did I have to waste an entire day without antibiotics? Then I was also told that the dr. wouldnt refill for me anyway since he wasnt the one that originally saw me. Dont they trust their own staff?? If they have these policies their employees need to know them. 4)I have since done research and Mayo Clinic says antibiotics need to be for 10 - 14 days with a sinus infection. They only gave me 10 days worth. 5) I went to my own doctor that same day (which saved $30 over going back to Premier), received a refill on my antibiotic & two days later my infection is gone - but Ill finish my prescription like I am supposed to :)

Love this location! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I checked in online and was running late; I called the office and they were incredibly understanding. This location is very clean and has a nice big waiting room. This was a follow up visit from when I went to the Primacare in Lewisville. I was told a week and a half ago that I had bad allergies; 10 days later and I still was not feeling better. When I arrived for my appointment, Cynthia greeted me at the front desk. She quickly took care of my paperwork and payment. When I was called back, Mariah took my vitals and symptoms; she also answered all of my questions without making me feel like I was dumb for not knowing. Brandon was the NP that evaluated/examined me. He was so empathetic about me feeling unwell for so long. He made sure to ask if I was OK with taking certain prescriptions before just assuming and sending everything to my pharmacy. This is a little detail that made me feel like Brandon was listening to and addressing my needs. I was put on a nasal inhaler of sorts. Laura, a paramedic they have on staff, came in to show me how to use this medication properly. If you want to be treated well by a knowledgeable and attentive staff, I HIGHLY recommend this PrimaCare location!

The NP only cared about the medicine I was prescribed, when I was there to be treated. Not once asking for anything, except to find out what was wrong with my jaw. She seemed focused on that and not the patients care. Then when she mentioned they could do x-rays ", I had to say yes please. Im there with a painful jaw, swollen, bruised, and could barely open my mouth. When the girl came to take me for xrays, she said " sorry it took so long, I had to look in a book to see how to do this x-ray since its been a while since we had a jaw". Completely unprofessional, especially since she was the same person who took my vitals and called me back. Then when the results were ready, they read off a sheet and the NP couldnt explain then well. Had I known this would have been my experience, I would have went elsewhere. They gave me no dietary restrictions or anything for inflation, so I tried regular food and now Im tears. So soft foods it is and yes thats an oxymoron, but most clinics give you a print out explaining what you have and any restrictions or recommendstions. I also look like a chipmunk now and talking or opening my mouth is out of the question. Next time, I will stick with my dr wait and all or go to Alliance ER.

I went here because I have no insurance and $99 seemed reasonable for an office visit. I felt corralled and rushed. The doctor came in the room telling me my diagnosis without examining me. Prescribed me meds and sent me on my way. My symptoms didnt get better with the meds, in fact they got worse and I developed more symptoms, so I revisited the office or the same symptoms. The doctor who saw the the second time said the other doctor had the right diagnosis but wrong meds and contradicted what the first doctor told me. Prescribed me more meds (all paid out of pocket) and practically laughed in my face when I asked if it was a comped follow up visit seeing as I was there for the SAME symptoms that the first doctor MIS-MEDICATED me for!(Ive worked for doctors and every urgent care clinic has always comped the followup, especially if I only came back cause they got it wrong the first time) I had to pay another $99 plus LABS plus more Prescriptions!! Nobody was friendly and everything was rushed! I would not recommend this clinic for anyone!

My experience was very bad with both the doctor (Dr. Bintay Jafri) and the nurse today, though I had good experience with Dr Miller before. The nurse tried a number of times and literally can not get blood from my vein, given I am 30-40 year average-built male adult . Then she stopped. Then the doctor gave a bunch of explanations why she can not get the blood “due to my problems and my veins”. Then she further went on that this test was not essentially relevant to my visit. Why bothered at the first place after several attempts? I was so astonished that people can come up so many reasons even including this one. I told her I lost the purpose of this visit, and she responded that it was so mean to say so. You can have less mean patients with better care. The time from I got into the waiting room to I got out was about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
