I absolutely LOVE this surgical hospital/emergency room. I have had 15 surgeries and my last 2 that Ive had have been here and they are by far the best. They go above and beyond for their patients, in fact you feel more like a favorite family member in their home than you do a patient in a hospital. EVERYONE treats you like royalty! They are kind, caring, compassionate, warm, respectful and they have wonderful personalities and they know how to make you laugh, smile, and feel at ease. I was so nervous but they were right there by my side and helped take my mind off of things. When I woke up from surgery I learnt that I had a bowel movement on myself during surgery and I was VERY embarrassed but the nurses reassured me that there was nothing to be embarrassed by and they were very gentle and discrete when they cleaned me up. The nurses care about your comfort and pain control as well, they gave me a warm blanket from the blanket warmer they have and they never let me feel too much pain because they stayed on top of my pain level and gave me pain medicine as needed. When I went home they called the next day to check on me and to make sure that I was doing well and to see if there was anything that they could do to help and they wanted to make sure that I was happy with how I was treated. Most hospitals want you to take a survey and they are impersonal as if they dont really care but at Tops there is no survey, instead there is a warm and caring voice making sure that you are happy and doing well and that your pain is under control. You are truly treated like family.

This is a first class facility. Period. From pre-surgery to anesthesia to post-surgery recovery to next day follow-up, top notch. At every step they had me confirm my name, BD & expected procedure so there were no foul-ups. They made me feel welcome and ensured that I was feeling well enough for discharge and that my ride was actually there before they allowed me to leave. They continually asked if I had questions and answered those few that I did have. While Im not a medical professional, I did spend 7 years working in a sizable mid-west hospital in both patient care and pathology and was involved in prepping our department for its annual accreditation inspections. Lets be frank, those people that rate a surgical facility 1 out of 5 stars because of their somewhat fluid scheduling practices are MORONS. You rate a surgical facility based on the level of care given and professionalism offered by the staff, which based on my experience is 5 out of 5. Dont listen to the morons - read and consider the reviews of those who discuss what actually counts.

Absolutely the best staff and service of any place Ive ever been. I cant compliment enough on how great the staff is here. So so friendly and comforting. There is a lady in the morning time I believe her name was trishel or trisha. She is such a kind human being. Very caring. All the nurses are so awesome. The ladies at the front desk as well. To make it short this place is amazing. I cant say that enough. My whole family were happy with their service. These people love their job. The Dr was so nice as well. during the surgery they kept coming out and letting us know the progress and telling us that its going great to not worry. From the first day I was there I wanted to write a review of this place. Tops Is the place to go.

While the medical staff is excellent at this facility, I must give them a poor rating because of their scheduling policy and procedure. The time administrative staff spent politely saying, "Im sorry, there is nothing I can do." is costly to the specialty hospital and totally frustrating to their customers. In an attempt to meet the needs of their physician partners, they will NOT schedule your procedure until about 12 hours before you are expected to arrive. When family members are with you and providing transportation, its a hassle. When someone has to depend on the kindness of friends, it is totally unreasonable and embarrassing. I cant imagine why they have so little regard for their customers.

Tops Surgical has Top Notch surgeons. I h sustained a knee injury requiring surgery. My Dr. Is Dr Alberto Cuellar. He is straight forward and detailed. He has worked with me from the beginning to the end. My surgery with Dr. Cuellar was a success and I highly recommend KSF on red oak and Tops Surgical for your needs. Post op rehabilitation was testing but the physical therapist really know what they are doing. I would like to think every involved from the beginning of treatment to the anesthesiologist never have being under before. All the way to the actual surgery, to my rehabilitation. I wish I could name everyone by name.

I havent had my procedure there but the one star rating is reflecting the inability of their process and people to provide arrival times for procedures until the night before the procedure. Some people dont have many options for determining who can drive them to and from a procedure. By limiting the information needed to plan a driver, the procedure automatically becomes more stressful, or at least it does for me. For those people that arent impacted by this problem, consider yourselves fortunate and cherish the fact that your family and friends are alive or live near you.

Called about needing xrays for followup to a procedure and was told no appt necessary just arrive before 3:00. Arrived 9 min later and during check in was told it would be 2 hrs before they could see me. Amazing, reception was very apologetic but nonetheless unable to provide basic service. Sometimes you just wonder where did the expected professionalism go ? I am actually very close to this facility but honestly will probably look around. Nothing special here. Called facility next door set appt , in and out in 30 min. Professional staff , what I was looking for.

In 2012 I had a mammogram and bone density procedure done. Insurance was supposed to pay for it however I was told that I owed a certain amount even though I received a refund from this company several years later. I have reached out to the company several times to show me how am itemized statement but never received a response. Now it has gone to collections. Really disappointed in this company.
