I have been going to CPVH for many, many years. They took care of my Gizmo until we had to put him down. I cant say enough kind words or express my gratitude to them for the kindness they have always shown me and my furry friends. Now, 10 years later i not only got one puppy, but i got two of them. Of course i wouldnt take them anywhere else but CPVH. Gerry is a God send, I love her so much. She has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. She always has time for me and never makes me feel that I am bothering her. She loves my babies as if they were her own. She even gave me her cell phone number (yes, I have used it), so that I could call her at any time with any concerns or questions i might have. All the staff is so nice and friendly and they never make you feel like just another patient. They make you feel SPECIAL!!! So, with all of this said, why would anyone take their furry friends to anyone else but CPVH. I just want to thank each and every one of you (you know who you are and how long I have known each of you) for always being kind, gracious and loving towards me and my babies.

Best vet ever! I have gone to Claws & Paws for over 11 years. I can not say enough good things about Claws & Paws. They have excellent staff from the office staff, vet assistants, all the way to each of the veterinarians. The doctors are experienced, and take extra special care of each of my cats. Every time I bring my cats there, everyone on the staff treats them like one of their own pets/kids. I have had to bring my cats in for both routine checkups, and emergency visits that required surgery. I have gotten numerous phone calls from Dr. Terrel personally, to make sure my cats are ok after surgery. Dr. Terrel has also called me numerous times (even late in the evening!) to check on my eldest cat, to make sure his medication is helping him. That alone gives me great piece of mind. The office staff is amazing and friendly. Claws & Paws has always worked with me on payments, and is always flexible in giving me a flexible payment plan when it is needed. I can always count on Claws & Paws taking the best possible care of all of my cats, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Another good trip to Claws & Paws VH! We made the appointment late because I thought our dog might have a urinary track infection. When I got there I also remembered Coup needed some shots. The staff was amazing as usual. We got in, got a sample, Coup got weighed and shots were given. Everyone worked efficiently and carefully with Coup. Best part in Coups opinion was the dog bone treat for being so good. Best part in my opinion was the care and efficiency that we always get. I wish all businesses remembered what customer service was all about. Of course the smiling faces at the front desk also make for an enjoyable experience too. We never get ignored and are made to wait while the staff talk on their cell phones or to each other like so many place. These folks always make you feel special, give you their attention and provide the help you come in for.

Tthe vets there are ridiculous. For the first 5 years it was okay, my parents took my dog there since he was a puppy, when we noticed after each visit the prices were getting higher and higher, we began to question. THEY DID NOT LIKE TO BE QUESTIONED. It is in every customers/patients right to ask what they are being charged for and whether or not something is necessary. They also were hesitant to give us prescriptions for outside pharmacies because they know they are cheaper outside of the clinic, these people charge ridiculous amount of money and do not price match their products. They love to suck the money out of people, thankfully I found a better vet anyways with insurance and better payment options. Claws and Paws may seem like they care for the animals but what they are mostly after is your wallet!!

Hey Pearland, This is a good outfit. They squeeze in drop-ins; they call to remind for check-ups & meds, and they are all really nice to the customers from what I have seen and they sure are courteous to me. Yeah, they are pricey, but in line with everyone else.....besides, havent you heard there is no such thing as a free dog? I wish they would open a branch in western Pearland; thats where all the population growth is. They would do well out there (here). I was new in town so I looked for Vets from the only good Vet college I know which is Texas A & M. I am not an A & M fan in any way shape or form, but they do have an excellent Vet school. Most of the vets here went there, those that didnt are just as qualified. I drive longer to get care here because its good. Pimp C.

If you want you and your pet to be treated like family this is the place. We have been clients for close to as long as they have been open. We had a kitten show up on our door in very bad shape. We arent cat folk but could not let this poor little creature suffer.and they did everything possible to help. When our beloved Peanut came down with cancer the staff was very helpful, and Dr Wickel went above and beyond calling day and night to check on our baby. I see them described as pricy. Personally I find the reasonable. I can tell you they are worth every penny and then some. They have always addressed every concern with the same care and attention they gave Peanut. Our babies deserve the best care possible and for that reason I wont take them anywhere else.

Claws and Paws has been our vet clinic since our very first and only little girl, Sarahbear, was a pup. Dr. Wickel and the staff always treated her like she was their own baby. She had as easy a spaying as I can imagine and recovered quickly. She also had some fatty tumors removed, yearly checkups and shots, and regular teeth cleaning done here, all smooth sailing...she never appeared more than a little excited visiting the clinic :). Our little girl (70 pound black Lab, perhaps not so little!) just passed away at the age of 15. Im certain she lived so long and healthy a life in large part due to the care and love that Dr. Wickel and her staff gave to her...thank yall so very much.

Been clients there for years off and on. Had a little Mini-Beagle that got into something and her face swelled up... had me there within the hour and took care of her until she was all better...even took a picture of her for me. A memory to treasure... that was years ago. Took care of me when we had all kinds of small issues, too. Our house is at times more like a zoo. Unfortunately Beagle got into something else not long ago. After having her at the emergency clinic the night before they saw us soon after I called. Unfortunately she couldnt be helped. They stayed with us and helped us through having to say Good-bye to our baby. Sensitive and patient with pets and owners...
