I had taken my dog here about a week ago. He was having breathing issues. Like shortness of breath. We went in for a check up they told us it was just a virus. They gave us antibiotics to help but it didnt seem to be working at all so we took him again and got X-rays to diagnose him. We were told it was a digestion problem and that they will give us stronger medication. It was indicated that it wasnt something that we had to worry about it. We take him home and a couple days go by he collapses we take him to a different hospital and we find out that the X-rays indicated that it was something EXTREMELY serious. My dog went into cardiac arrest later that day. We received the worst news ever. My bestfriend had passed away. I just want to make people aware of this issue if you think its something very serious I wouldnt recommend coming here. I lost my bestfriend for something that we could have prevented if the doc had payed more attention to the X-rays. Instead they just gave me a bunch of drugs that had nothing to do with what my dog was dealing with. Sorry about the novel. I just wanted to share my experience with people that way the samething doesnt happen to them. Thanks for your time.

This vet is expensive, I wont argue that. However, if you are someone that believes in quality over quantity, this shouldnt bother you. I adopted a cat that was severely abused. After taking her to Banfield and being told to put her down, my father in law suggested taking her to Dr. Wilde. She stayed with Dr. Wilde for three days and returned home in stable condition on the up and up. Three years later, you would never know my little girl had experienced any trauma. I love this vet and their staff. They genuinely care about the animals that come in and I have never experienced anything bad. Recently, I ended up taking in another stray and am taking him into Dr. Wilde tomorrow. There are other vets local to here that are much cheaper, but I trust the work of this office and definitely Dr. Wildes care.

Took our cat in about 6 months ago. Most other vets charge a lot, but this place was very reasonable. Much less than our vet in Holladay. Cost $160 for a bunch of vaccinations because we hadnt done it for a while. Plus they also diagnosed him with allergies to something, unknown what but they gave us cream to treat it. That was the original reason we brought him in. Our cat is also "messy" during car rides. They cleaned him up and didnt mind the mess. Really freindly staff and they really care about animals. Our cat grew back all his hair and stopped scratching it off thanks to the cream and the diagnosis from their staff. Great vet clinic!

This place will try and take advantage of your love for your animal. I went in to get a lump checked out on my dogs toe and the old veterinarian said he would need to look at it under a microscope. He cut a piece off and charged me 90 dollars just to tell me we need to get it removed, i got an estimate for well over $600, 170 was for sedation. I got a 2nd opinion from a clinic the humane society recommended and they instantly looked at it and knew what it was, no cutting, no charge. The estimate there was just above $250! Only $70 was for sedation. I mean the numbers speak for themselves.

great vet who cares and is gentle with my dogs. I ask many questions and he gives me detailed answers and options. I had a dog with a bad hip and other vets said they could do nothing but put him down or just give rimadel and he would suffer. Dr wilde mentioned trying hormone therapy and rymadel. My dog was alot better and lived happy for another 2 years able to walk, hike and lift his leg to pee. I will only use this doctor, I hope he never retires we love his buisness so much

Ive taken my dog in a few times. I really like this Vet. He is great with my dog, even gave me a little note that said "very well behaved dog". He explains what he suspects is going on, what he is going to do, why, how the dog may react, etc. Ive stayed through the exam. he explains the findings and diagnosis. He shows me the results. Explains the treatment. Gives me the meds and tells me what to do. Im an RN and really appreciate the clear information.

Have taken all my pest since I was 12 years old (now 42) to DR Wilde. Awesome man and Vet. When my parents house caught on fire recently, he offered and took their cat free of charge while they got things figured out about where they were going to live while the house gets fixed. Hes caring, and professional.

Terrific veterinarian. They have treated our dogs very well, and when the time came that we had to put my dogs to sleep, they were extremely understanding. They even sent a card with a handwritten note expressing their sympathy. None of the other vets I have taken my animals to have done that.

I just took my dog in for an ear infection. I called and they got me right in. We had never been here before. I am very satisfied with the care we recieved. The Dr. took the time to talk with me about what was happening. The bill was just about what I expected. Very pleased!

Dr. Wilde is awesome! We called last minute on a Friday to see if he could see our newly adopted dog. He saw us immediately and spent the next hour answering all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. He was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Never use this vet... I called to leave a message and got a nasty lady .. I lost my dog and was just trying to find him only to be treated like crap by this vet!!

Best Vet out there! I have been taking family pets here my whole life. Dr Wilde is the best!
