I wanted to compliment Physician Assistant Tara Burton with Summit Dermatology as she has made my visits to Summit Dermatology very positive. Unfortunately, many of my experiences as a patient over the last six years with numerous doctors has not been very positive. I feel that some doctors and health care professionals lack decent "bedside" manner often making you feel that they dont really care. No one likes to be sick but I think it is so important as a patient to feel respected and cared for just a "little" . Sometimes it is forgotten that patients are humans and not automobiles in for a tune-up. So I think it is very important to recognize my positive experiences in the healthcare field when I have them and that is why I would like to compliment and recommend Physician Assistant Tara Burton, staff, and Summit Dermatology. In addition, a patients first experience with a doctors office is often on the phone or with their staff in the lobby. I would to like to compliment Donna W. as she has always been pleasant with me on the phone and the times that I have been at the office.. Sincerely, John C Colorado Springs

I am giving the office 2 stars just for the fact that phone calls are NEVER returned or returned a week after you call. I called yesterday and left a message with the front desk girl. I was told someone would call me back the next day by the afternoon. At 3:30 I still had not received a call back. I called the office and left a message on the answering machine explaining what i was told the day before. as of 5:00 still no phone call. I referred a friend to this office and it took them a WEEK to call her back. Not exactly the way to get or maintain patients. I felt bad referring her. I REALLY like the PA that we have seen and the nurses are very helpful. The lack of promptness leaves a lot to be desired.

Thanksgiving week last year, I woke up with a massive facial rash with so much swelling that I was barely recognizable. I called numerous dermatologists in the area in a panic and I got declined by everyone except for this very nice office. When I showed up, I was seen by Dr Whaley, his male resident and Martina. Not only were they professional and knowledgeable, they were also compassionate and reinsuring. I was placed on medications right away and I returned to normal within a few days. I could not be more thankful for such great service and would recommend this office to anyone in need of a dermatologist.

Called in on Saturday with a recurrence of a chronic issue. Instead a callback from a nurse, the Dr called me back within an hour and we started treatment right away. They clearly care a great deal about their patients.
