I took my cat in because he was urinating outside his cat box. $200 later, we were told this was a behavioral problem and he didnt have a UTI, no other information was given. Fast forward about 6 weeks, I had to take my cat to the emergency vet hospital to get a catheter placed and treatments. He had struvite crystals in his bladder, which blocked his ureter, and his kidney function was compromised. This is very dangerous and cats could die if left untreated for even more than a day or so. The staff at Feist made no mention of this as a possibility, which I now understand from info given from the current vet hospital in very common, especially in male cats. If I had been warned that this could be a possibility, and that there are foods that can be given to prevent/reduce this risk, this could have been avoided or at least been less traumatic. I am so disgusted with Feist, the information they gave me actually harmed my cat, as I was reluctant to bring him in again and waste so much money to be told that it is a "behavioral" problem. Because of this, I probably waited longer to bring him in for treatment than I would have if I hadnt take him to Feist at the start of these problems. Treatment for this will probably cost over $2000, as well as putting my cat through pain, trauma and risking his health. I would strongly warn anyone to stay away from Feist.

Absolutely fantastic! We are from out of town and left our two "children" (two golden doodles) here and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. This was the first time we have left our dogs anywhere and we were very nervous. The second we walked through the door we were reassured by an amazing, kind, loving staff. They immediately welcomed our dogs, asked us all about them and let us know about all the fun things they would being doing with the dogs while we were gone. I honestly dont think we could have been more pleased and felt more reassured after we left. Upon return the staff was great through the check out process and our dogs seemed to have loved staying there and really loved the staff. I would give this clinic 10 stars if I could! To be able to walk away knowing your dearly loved pets are in good hands and will be given the love and attention they need/are used to is priceless in my book. Thank you to all that work here, if we are ever in the twin cities again we will certainly be using you. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!

I’m only giving this place a 2 because my mom said they were nice. I on the other hand DISAGREE. My mom and I had to put our 12 year old cat down. We went to vet , they took her back, did it, and brought her back in the room with us (I couldn’t bring myself to watch it happen). While they took our cat back the girl came in twice asking for my Care Credit info. When they brought our girl back and as our dead family member is laying on the table and were saying our goodbyes the front desk girl came back in a third time asking how much of it we gonna pay etc... I said Jesus, isnt there a better time to do this’? It’s been a couple days, but I am still so MAD right now. I understand that they have administrative details that need to be addressed, but they could’ve gaven us 5 minutes with our cat. I didn’t even feel comfortable staying saying goodbye to her after that. I felt that they were completely uncompassionate, insensitive, and unprofessional about the situation.

I adopted a kitty from AHS and took it in for a complementary exam to another vet first. Wasnt pleased with the quality of service there (for something worth $40-$60 bucks, they did a quick 5min check and didnt even properly check the temperature, etc.) So I brought her here and they did a better, thorough check up the first time around. Came back again for vaccine and exam, and exam was like my first experience - short and a quick check of lungs and weight. In short: good quality but routine check ups (lungs, heart, and weight check) are expensive and not worth it if you dont have pet insurance or if you think something serious isnt going on.

I have been bringing my dogs to Feist for a decade. Though I occasionally have to wait a bit to be seen, it is always worth it. The vets are competent and compassionate. Also, whenever I have had an emergency, I have been able to get in right away. I high recommend this clinic to anyone with furry family members.

Ive been in there twice and both times the vets seemed to be more salesperson than physician. I came in for a non life threatening problem recently. The effort put into finding the cause of said problem and fixing it was lacking... or maybe more precisely, it was treated as nbd. I didnt appreciate that.

I love this clinic, switching to VCA Feist was the best decision I ever made for my cats care. The staff are always friendly and every vet Ive encountered there has been gentle and compassionate. Thank you for everything you guys do. You rock!

We have been really impressed with their responsiveness to concerns and willingness to help over the phone. They are gentle with our nervous dog and the vet techs have been very warm and loving. They work well with our busy family.

We have a dog that does not get along well with other dogs- so finding a spot for her was difficult. We found VCA Feist to be perfect for her, and the extra personal time well worth the little additional cost.
