I find this Spa to be less than honest and rather deceitful. A couple of months ago, I wanted to get CoolSculpting. I was looking for a Spa close to home that I could trust and have a long-term relationship with. Unfortunately, this is not the place. I do have to admit that they have excellent personel who are very good at getting you to come into their office and then gaining your trust in order to get you to have procedures done. When I first called I was told by a girl named Leia that there was a special promotion going on for CoolSculpting. She quoted me $750 for 2 treatments plus $10 toward some cause. I called other nearby Spas who wanted $500 per treatment. So it was a no brainer to have 2 for $750 rather than $1000. However, I should have known it was a red flag, when I went in for my “free” consultation. I was met by Lisa Reinert. She was very pleasant and seemed very knowledgable. She told me that I was misquoted and that it was $750 for one treatment. I asked her who Leia was. She never answered the question, but rather dodged it and changed the subject. She also told me that I was the perfect candidate and that I probably only needed 1 treatment. I have a very small frame to begin with weighing at 110 lbs. I wanted to get rid of some stomach fat around my belly after having kids. She assured me that I will see “wonderful results” just with one treatment. She had me sign a document on her iPad saying that I agree to paying $750. Also, I had to pay $100 that day to secure my appointment for the CoolSculpting. I had the procedure performed. I waited 3 months and didn’t see any noticeable results. I made my 3 month consultation to see Lisa and go over the results. However, when I went in, she was not there and Rebecca took my pictures. I told the front desk girl and Rebecca that I didn’t see any changes. I also inquired about who Leia was. They both looked puzzled as if not knowing how to answer. Rebecca quickly came up with an answer and said that Leia use to work for them and is no longer there. How convenient I thought. I was told that I will hear from Lisa in 2 days. I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. I called the office and was told she would contact me shortly. She finally did 2 ½ wks later. She sent before and after photos. By the way, the photos looked identical, NO changes whatsoever, other than I was tan from the sun. And you can tell that the after photos were slightly shrunken to give the appearance that I was smaller. But it made the rest of my body (arms & legs) smaller looking, too. Even though the application was only placed on my stomach. But Lisa wrote me a long email telling me how wonderful I looked, and that she felt that I needed THREE more treatments at $750 each. She went from saying I only needed ONE treatment, now to needing FOUR. And she wasn’t even there to see me in person to see the results. She determined this via photos that she shrunk. I tried to send an email regarding concerns and also asked to have it passed up to upper management before writing this review. Of course, it wasn’t done. Only thing was Lisa sent an email back saying she feels that I needed FOUR more treatments “Warmly, Lisa.” I don’t trust this facility one bit. Buyers beware!

Great Experience I am a 36 year old mother of three and was looking to have plastic surgery since I am not planning on having anymore children. I searched for a plastic surgeon for years after giving birth to my last child, keeping various websites bookmarked in my computer, when I came across Dr. Michael Laws website. I liked his philosophy, education background and experience, so I made an appointment. I live on the west coast so in traveling to North Carolina I hoped that I would not feel disappointed. My friends even questioned why I would travel all the way to North Carolina when I live four hours from LA. Im glad I made the trip! What I found was a very intelligent, kind, mild-mannered and conscientious doctor who cares about his patients, the best individual results possible and overall safety. Dr. Law really takes his time and gives you something to think about in terms of various alternatives. His work is tailored to you. I booked a surgery date soon after my initial consultation for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. I returned to have my tummy tuck and I could not be more pleased with the results. I have my pre-pregnancy waistline (okay maybe a little better than the pre-pregnancy waist) back! Dr. Law may be slightly pricier than other doctors but his work speaks for itself and is well worth the price. Whenever I show anyone my results, they may say that they have found a cheaper doctor but they will not say that the work/results are as good. Additionally, I believe that certain qualities in a person are unquantifiable; integrity, honesty, compassion etc. Dr. Law has these qualities. I felt like I could trust him to do the best job. I had a benign breast lump which prevented me from having the breast augmentation that I wanted. Dr. Law expressed genuine concern about my condition and even gave me some insight into additional testing and procedures that I have the right to request. I plan to return to North Carolina for my breast augmentation when my doctors here give me the okay. I highly recommend him to people who are looking for a quality doctor and great results. Hes a wonderful doctor and an even better person.

I’m writing this review three months after my surgery, since I am now better able to provide a more complete opinion and to describe the entire process. I decided to go with Dr. Law even though I live on the other side of the country. Even as I was on my way to North Carolina, I was still asking myself why I was traveling so far for breast augmentation surgery with California, Las Vegas, or even Texas right next door. Well, I’m very happy now and I think it was the best decision I could make. Dr. Law is an excellent surgeon and I consider him an artist. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. Dr. Law has a very positive attitude and emanates self-confidence without a hint of arrogance. Prior to the surgery, I was very impressed by his attention to detail as he took very precise measurements of my breasts, nipples, rib cage and whole body structure. Now a little bit about the actual surgery. His medical staff is very professional and courteous. They took care of me every single minute without ever seeming to be paying attention to the clock. Once I was done with surgery I was expecting pain, but it never came. I even said to myself, "Be prepared to deal with a lot of pain tomorrow." Well, three days passed... a week passed... and nothing! I’ve been in more pain after a teeth cleaning. I basically felt like I had completed a 100 push-up challenge and I was just sore from exercising. I’m still in awe. After the surgery, Doctor Law and his nurses checked on me at night, the next day, and three days later. Once I was back at home, I had a number of phone consultations and follow ups. All I can say to Dr. Law and his staff is thank you so much for taking such good care of me and for giving me the natural, beautiful look that I traveled across the country for! If you’re looking for natural-looking results, no pain, and a friendly doctor with a kind and caring staff, I would highly recommend Dr. Law. My only regret is that I dont live closer to his practice!
