STAY AWAY!!! My mom arrived at this facility a normal post surgery patient. In 3 days time, this facility and their staff turned my mother into a patient with symptoms mirroring that of dementia. She was so over medicated that she didnt know where she was or why she was there. She was making very disturbing phone calls to family members and hallucinating. In a 5 day stay, she received 1 1/2 hours of therapy. She was scheduled to have 2 hours a day. The bandage on her incision was not changed 3 times a day. She was lucky to get it changed once a day. The food served was barely edible. For example, dinner one night was a dry ham sandwich on wheat bread, a small pasta salad and a package of Oreo cookies. We took our concerns to the social worker in her case and we were assured all the issues brought to their attention would be addressed during the weekly meeting on her case. That evening I was on the phone with my mother and she had it on speaker phone. My mom said she was in pain and couldnt get the nurse to bring her her pain medication. The attending nurse came into the room and was extremely harsh with my mother. In her over medicated state she became very frightened of the nurse and the nurse proceeded to become even more stern. I was on the speaker phone and asked the nurse to leave the room. She refused. I continued to request that she leave. Finally, the floor nurse heard the disturbance and told me shed call in 5 minutes and disconnected my phone. I immediately called back and the floor nurse assured me that my mother was resting and had her medication for the evening. Since I was out of state I had no choice but to pray for the best. I had someone there first thing in the morning to have her moved. If it hadnt been for the new rehabs staff I wouldnt have been able to get my mother out of "this house of horrors" until the following day when I could get to Texas. My advise to anyone considering taking your loved ones to this "place" is DONT.

This place is worse than a nursing home!! These so-called nurses act like youre there to help them! They ignore calls, and when they finally answer its, "what do you want". By the time he comes in, he brings in the new pants and says "here". WOW!!! They let our daughter fall and break her nose. Good thing shes in a place where they can take care of her. NOT!!! These are the laziest people I have ever seen!! You guys SUCK! Heres a followup. So our daughter was not getting better, she was getting worse. She began to posture like she had brain damage. She was confused and her speech was garbled even more than normal. She was lethargic and slept most of the time. She was taken to ER and they find that she was malnourished and dehydrated!! She almost died at the hands of these lazy "people". She was also over-medicated!!!! This is criminal to treat patients like this! They over-medicate patients so that they will have to go to the hospital and the staff doesnt have to work. Nice try. This isnt over!

The care my dad received at Reliant Dallas was pretty good the first 4 or 5 days, but the last 4 or 5 days it was horrible. I would not recommend them. They left him sitting alone in a wheel chair for long periods of time. He received almost no physical therapy the last 4 or 5 days. He went 2 or 3 days without a bath. He developed bed soars at the end of his stay. Our Case Manager never got out of her office (NEVER). Only time we saw her was when we chased her down. The head of physical therapy was an absentee manager, as far as we could tell. We only saw him one time and that was when we had a major complaint. We received almost no reports from his doctors there, unless we chased them down. I would not recommend them. My dad received really poor care there.

My mother was here, this facility is very unorganized, unprofessional and bordering on negligence. Every time I visit groups of employees were at the nurses station having loud conversations about the news or whatever was going on in their lives for hours, meanwhile no one bothered to come in to check on my mother for hours at a time. Experience at the Richardson location in the past was much better.

This is the worst experience I have ever encountered! The nurses are very very rude they dont seem to care at all. The doctor here has no compassion what so ever. Been in pain since I have arrived and all they give me is Tylenol. I feel like Im in a drug rehab. I promise I will never ever come back to this place nor will I refer anyone here not even my worst enemy.

Lazy nurses , that place is a joke. They are medicare, & medicade suckers , physical therapy people are nice. But nurses & Case managers are not professional . Nurses station, seems to be the common area on the 2nd shift. They just talk, . My husband is there,, Get professional nurses !!!

My mother has been in and out of hospitals the last few years and reports this has been the best experience. Staff was very kind and she improved a great deal - we were able to get her home within a week.
