this is another review I am taking the time to write on this veterinarian. Since the horrible occurence with him, in his office. I will attach a note I just emailed to a LTC of the Army who got his name from someone. Obviouslyl unaware of how he truly is. thank you for reading. I also wanted to ask, on a seperate note, did someone point you into the direction of Bubba Kunde in Marion, or did you find him on the internet searching a vet in my area? My mothers little chihuahua and myself had a horrible horrible experience personally with him in front of his staff, after he let me come from behind closed doors, one on one with him, along with his clients being in the waiting room. I have not since and would not refer anyone toward his office and especially him AND especially military families. (out of my respect for my fellow family members from being an Army wife for 20 yrs). Buck was in Iraq at the time and this man knew this..again, he was horrible. Not only as a veterinarian, but a man himself. I wouldn t mind sharing the experience with you to pass on, but, only if you would like me to. Your interest in this might not be one that would go any further, which I would respect completely. I only wanted to, on a more personal note, ask this question and share this with you to try and discourage anyone to ever go to this facility. Words cant express the extremely negative experience I had with him, not even mentioning the poor dog I took to him after being attacked by a pit bull. Pls let me know if this information would be helpful. If not, that s totally fine. I wouldnt be able to forgive myself if I didnt say something in regards to this experience. If he reads this review, I assure you, he WILL KNOW exactly who wrote the review. No one there would be able to forget the day this happened. thank you. Angi in Cibolo, Tx

One of my neighbors told me that she took her dog to the Marion Animal Hospital and so I decided to give them a try. I have found Dr. Kunde (Bubba) to be an excellent vet and very reasonable in his charges. My little Shih Tzu/Poodle mix has always had digestive problems. Before I heard about this Animal Hospital, I took my dog to 2 diffrent places here in Schertz. Each time, it cost me close to $400. I had begun to just try home remedies because being retired and on a fixed income, I just couldnt afford this every month, when my dog started having diarrhea. Dr. Kunde was way less expensive, friendly, and has been treating Max for this problem now. Although I have never seen the other vet in his office, she did refill Maxs prescription without any problems, when Dr. Kunde was off. All of the staff that I have met in the office are very helpful and personable. Recently, when I called about Max on Dr. Kundes day off, the staff sent him a text message and he ACTUALLY RESPONDED !!!! What vet does that anymore???? None around my area. I tell all of my neighbors about him and one of them has already taken their pet there and really likes him also. I dont see how you can go wrong with this Animal Hospital.

Both Dr Kunde and Dr Garriott are outstanding veterinarians. They are compassionate, responsive, patient and fairly priced. The staff is also very friendly and always try to work out appointments with our very large array of pets and busy work schedules. We highly recommend Marion Animal Hospital to all our friends and anyone seeking knowledgeable, compassionate vets for their pets or livestock. Drs Kunde and Garriott have also helped immeasurably with our rescue dogs...we appreciate their help, advice and professional guidance/education in saving these great dogs and getting them ready for transport to their forever homes. I have always felt that my animals were being treated as if they belonged to the vets themselves - I know my fur-babies (dogs, cast, horses) are in good hands at Marion Animal Hospital.

best vets i have ever had the experience of using. my dog "charlie" ate rat bait and i didnt know it until he started bleeding spontaneously. Dr. Beck was quick to recognize the symptoms and initiated treatment just in time to save his life. He required a blood transfusion in addition to the antidote for rat bait. i was not prepared for the cost incurred but needed to treat my pet. Dr. Kunde offered me the Care Credit option provided by their clinic. I was able to apply for the credit right there in the office, was approved in minutes, and was able to treat my baby "charlie." WITHOUT their veterinary skills, or payment options outside the normal resources available to me, i would have lost my "charlie!" Thanks again Marion Animal Hospital!!!!!!!!!

Hunt Tested

Zero stars would be a better option. Took my little basset hound Lola in when she wasnt feeling well. Paid $400 for testing. That was 4 years ago, and to this day Ive never received the results.. She passed away about 10 days later. They called 6 months after she died.. Wanted me to come back for her vaccinations. What a joke this place is. "Bubba" is exactly that.. Worst veterinarian experience Ive ever had. And I own horses, a French bulldog, and another basset hound.. So I know a good vet. This place isnt it. Save your money and go to a vet that takes care of their business, and your pet.

Dr Kunde (or Doc Bubba) has treated my dogs and horses for several years. I never have felt as though I asked a stupid question, he is great with his 4 legged patients and awesome with their 2 legged owners. Even after having moved to NW San Antonio, near Sea World, I cannot find a vet that I would trust half as much as Doc Bubba. So, I make the hour drive because in the end, I know that my animals will get the very best treatment by the very best vet. And THAT is what matters!

I have been a client of Dr Garriott since she graduated from vet school. She has taken care of my horses and my dogs for years now. I wont use anyone else. Now that she is in Marion, I have to drive an hour to her office, but I wont even consider going to anyone closer. My dogs are the most important, and they deserve the best.

My fur babies have been going here their whole lives, Bubba and his staff is always great and all animal loving people~! Recently my little man was attacked by another animal and they were great at working him in on the emergency and again for several laser procedures he had to have~! Thank you Marion Animal Hospital!!!

Wonderful people. They took great care of us when our dog was dying. He was diagnosed with cancer. They helped us keep him comfortable until he just couldnt be comfortable any longer, then they helped him gently go to sleep. They really helped us.

Fantastic staff. Had emergency and couldnt get in to regular vet and they treated my pet and they treat her like they knew her all her life. Needless to say, I have a new vet. Referred them to a friend and they loved them too. Highly recommend.

Great place to take your pet! I took my dog Marley he needed a surgery done and they took great care of him. Everyone I met was very friendly, informative, and you can tell they love what they do! Highly recommend.
