Dog spinal rupture was treated with a chiropratic device by Dr. Travis..any vet knows that the dog needed to rest close to a month and be given anti-inflamatory meds..He never told us this and the dog got worse and had to be put to sleep! A cat of ours was treated with antibiotics for close to a year..he refused to give the proper tests to see what was in the lungs and to properly treat our cat! Strung us along costing a lot of money for hospitalization. The cat would get better but still have a little wheezing..so all we got was steroids and antibiotics..Early Monday morning around 2AM the emergency vet number that the animal hospitals answering machine tells us to call denied us from bringing our cat in..told us to wait until the vet opened since Dr. Travis has the ongoing medical records on this cat..i begged because we needed help..our cat died at 5:AM before the vet opened up..So much money spent and this vet didnt want to do any further tests to see what it was in his lungs..just kept him for long stays, vet visits and meds..When I found out there are 2 kinds of tests needle and aspiration I asked Dr. Travis about it..he said it was too expensive..I said WHAT..I have paid thousands already and strung along with this illness..he then said well the cat hasnt been well enough for the tests..This is a complete lie on his part..just a money game! I cant believe he has customers that think the world of him!???

Dr Travis and all of the doctors here are amazing to work with! We took my dog and cat here for 15 years. Last summer my dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur and re-acted very poorly to the medicine treatment. Dr Travis was very comforting and told us he would keep an eye on her health and gave us signs to keep out for if it was getting worse. Sadly this year my dog declined quickly health wise. She has hated car rides since she was a puppy and was very weak at the end. When it came time to make the decision we had to put her down as she was suffering, the doctors were amazing in competing our final wishes. My parents called the vet at 2pm asking if someone could come to our house to put our dog down. 2 hours later they accommodated us and our wish for our dog. She got to pass in her own home, stress free all thanks to the wonderful doctors at Sheboygan Animal Hospital. Them doing this made it better for me knowing my dog was ok in the end. I can never thank them enough for the gift they gave our family and my dog.

This was our family vet for many many years. We had no idea how poorly we were being treated until we tried another vet. Reception is VERY rude and inconsiderate. Info such as pets birthdates was incorrectly documented repeatedly. I attempted to retrieve both of my pets documentation from their original adoption when I was switching vets and was reprimanded like a child for asking the lady at the desk to get them (mind you I called a day ahead of time and she said she still hadnt had time to dig them out). Appointments have to be made months in advance -- and you wont see the doctors whose names are on the building, you will see one of the many techs. Prices here are higher than other vets. My dog had severe allergy issues and they offered no insight. Never recommended any testing, just kept wanting to sell me more meds to treat the aftermath. We switched to a new vet -- couldnt be happier! My dogs issues were finally addressed and he was happy and healthy again finally.

Called them for information about my kitten who had begun to show symptoms of an eye infection and was told, "not a priority for the emergency vet" to see my kitten. While telling them I thought he should be seen sooner because his eyes were really bad I got told, "the next time I could get you in would be next week because were very busy with other ill animals." Woman on phone with me was sarcastic, rude and ignorant. When she asked what my pets name was I told her his name was Guinness to which I was scoffed at and asked, "like the beer?" In a rude tone. Biting my tongue, I said yes. Meanwhile I am freaking out because my baby kitten is sick and I felt that his name was not the attention point here and I especially didnt need to be scoffed at about. Overall, very disappointed with the phone call I had. I understand everyone has bad days but in a situation like this the last thing I needed was to be scoffed at and treated how I was.

I brought my cat in to get spayed with Dr. Travis - she ended up getting an infection and we took her to the Emergency Hospital in Port Washington. They fixed her up and sent Dr. Travis all of the information that he would need to review. He called me immediatly and asked me how my kitten was doing. After she continued having issues I called Dr. Travis a number of times and he was very concerned and helped me figure out what was going on. Not only did he refund me some of the money from the emergency appointment, he called and made sure everything was okay after new antibiotics were used. Dr. Travis and the Sheboygan Animal Hospital are great people to work with - I would recommend them to any pet lover.

We were taking our pet here for a brief time as our regular vet moved away. The office staff was unorganized and not friendly. There was so many customers waiting I felt like we were just another customer. After being placed in the room the Doctor came in and never even spoke to my dog or petted her. We literally were just another number or should I say dollar. We switched to Healthy Paws in Sheboygan Falls best move ever. As soon as we walked in the door the receptionist came over and greeted my dog made her feel happy and loved. The vets get down on the floor to the dogs level and my dogs respond well. Sheboygan Animal Hospital can learn a little from Healthy Paws.

I had to put my pup of 13 years down recently due to kidney issues that were making him uncomfortable at a fast rate. I had trouble finding a local vets office that could fit me into their schedule as quickly as I needed. The Sheboygan Animal Hospital not only made the time but they made the very emotional process as painless as possible for both me and my dog. They were very comforting and took every effort to be sensitive to the heartache I was going through. I also received a clay pawprint of my pet and it was a nice way to remember him. It is never easy to go through the loss of an animal friend but I appreciated the good service I received here.

Dr. Wilsing sucks, doesnt give any suggestions on what would be better to do first. Has the common curtesy to have the owner open our dogs mouth to look at her gums instead of doing it herself. Not really that nice to us. She gave us three options and one was just leave it! Hello if we wanted to just leave it and put our dog in pain then we wouldnt of came in for a visit!!!! If you do go to this Animal Hospital, then see only Dr. Travis or Dr. Kramer the only two vets that are actually good/ trustworthy at their job!!!
