What a gem The Cleveland Eye Clinic is! To begin with, The Cleveland Eye Clinic has the finest physicians who are highly trained, incredibly skilled and equipped with the latest state-of-the- art technology; all in effort to identify as well as diagnose your viusal problems. Dr. Chester ( who, we feel, is one of the finest physcians in Cleveland) just happened to suggest that our son should be examined and quickly identified a serious viual problem. We were beside ourselves! We had no idea that our son had a visual problem at all. The schools eye doctor reported that Christophers eyes were fine. Plus, Christopher never complained about seeing or ever gave any hint of a visual problem. Christoher was there to just accompained his fathers visit. Had Dr. Chester not been as skillfully trained as well as equipped with the highest state of - the - art technology, our son would had been blind in a few years and there wouldnt been anything anyone could do. Our son is now 23 years old with 20/20 vision. Hes in college and hes doing very well. So, we, the Ernest Family, want to publicly thank Dr. Chester for his training, his outstanding equipment, and most of all...MOST OF ALL : his sincere dedication in helping people. Again, if it werent for Dr. Chester, our son, our only child, would had been blind. Dr. Chester is just one fine example of the high quality care patients recieve daily at The Cleveland Eye Clinic. I took my daughter to the Avon office and I have never loved another dr better than dr Pierre!! He was amazing very friendly and very fast. You can tell he has children of his own because he knew just how to talk to her and get her to pay attention to do what he needed to do. He used a tv with Madagascar on it that she could watch while he checked her eyes. He never missed a beat. I brought her in for this thing that looked like some sort of sore on the cornea of her eye and before the nurse even brought his chart in to see her history (we were new patients) he looked at my concern and immediately asked if she had allergies. Once he got the chart he confirmed her history and checked over a few other things while we were there. He knew exactly what to prescribe her and even gave us something she can use all year round and then told me every year during allergy season he would get her started on the other medicine to prevent this allergy caused issue. Amazing Dr. would defintely recommend him to everyone!!

Dr. Bornhorst is amazing. When I had an unexpected vision condition occur, I called the Cleveland Eye Clinic, explained the problem, and they worked me into their schedule that same day. Dr. Bornhorst was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem with my eye. Even more amazing is that he had previously asked a local pharmacy to keep in stock a hard-to-find medication, so I was able to start treatment just minutes after I left his office. Early diagnosis and rapid treatment made all the difference - less than 24 hours later my vision had improved enough that I could return to work and its gradually returning back to normal. What more can I say about somebody I feel saved my vision that day other than, "Thank You!" - I know, I can write this heartfelt review.

Dr Pierre was fantastic. Very personable and great at what he does. He had given me instructions to give my eyes a shot in the arm. I have been following the instructions and my eyes have not felt this good and lubricated in quite some time without using products like visene etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well with free coffee what more can I say.. Great experience. I have never really had an optical MD before for my Rx for new glasses before today. I actually went to have my cataracts checked and he even said they were ok no surgery yet. thank you Dr. Love Dr. Pierre. S M Homenuk

I have been seeing Dr Mak for over 30 years after I found out I need to be checking my eyes because of my T1 Diabetes. Its nice having that continuity in service all these years, he knows me, my history, he predicted within a year when I would need progressive lenses, keeps me abreast of what to expect as I get older and the new procedures to address them. He seems to have different, more updated equipment every time I go. And his assistant, Chris is always a pleasant face to see, fun, professional and caring. I actually enjoy going to see them.

A doctors office doesnt get any better than the Avon Cleveland Eye Clinic. The doctors and the staff in this office are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy coming to this office knowing the kind of customer service I will receive which is 5 stars and if there were more stars, I would rate higher. Through this office, I have had three eye procedures done in 2014 and follow up visits into the new year of 2015 and each and every occurrence has been nothing but the absolute best. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Pierre and his office staff, as well as surgery staff and anesthesiologist at Mercy Surgical on Hoag Dr., Elyria are absolutely amazing. They are experts from beginning to end and provide the personal attention to your concerns that you want and expect and, most importantly, need. I felt completely at ease upon meeting them and even more at ease when surgery was done. I cannot praise them and their kindness, professionalism and expertise enough. I am so glad that my optometrist, referred me to Dr. Pierre.

This past friday, my daughter Ava was seen at the Cleveland Eye Clinics Avon office. We usually visit the Elyria office where the staff are professional, precise and mostly friendly, but did not have an opening until later in the month so we took an appointment in Avon. The staff at the Avon location was beyond AMAZING! The friendliness and down to earth personalities made our visit enjoyable! A huge thank you Avon C.E.C staff! Keep up the good job!

I have always had amazing service with CEC they are very professional and also very compassionate. We LOVE the whole staff and Jennifer Penny she is amazing and very knowledgeable with her position. She was amazing with my 6 year old daughter whom doesnt like any eye drops. All of the doctors are very professional and very caring as well. I recommend everyone that needs an eye doctor to your facility :-)

I burst a blood vessel in my eye and my family was concerned since Ive had cataract surgery. They noticed it about noon time and I called to see if someone could see me and they told me to come RIGHT in! I got there and they took me in immediately and thoroughly checked me out. They were wonderful!!! I would recommend Dr Killian and her group to anyone. Shes SUPER!

Have always liked going to this facility to Dr. Anne Jacobs and worried about who would be able to fill her big shoes. So glad for a great succession team. Keep up the good work. My appointment was for routine annual examination.
