They are AMAZING at Woodbridge Animal Hospital!! I moved to the area 6 months ago and do not have a vet for my 2 cats. Last night, my younger male started peeing blood at about 8pm. We flipped out thinking we couldnt get him in anywhere. I called Woodbridge Animal Hospital and explained the situation. They told me to bring him in asap and they promised to get him in right away. We got there 10 minutes later and they had a room ready for us and reassured us that we can be with our cat Ollie the whole time. Someone came in right away to check Ollies vitals and see what was going on (he had crystals). They explained who our emergency dr. would be and were so helpful with all of our questions. Dr. Boyce came in and treated us and Oliie with so much respect and care (which means everything to us because our 2 cats are the world to us). Dr. Boyce explained our options and reassured us that we caught the problem early on which was good news. She explained what she thought would be best for him and gave us the option of keeping him there overnight or taking him home and monitoring him with his medications and such. That was so amazing because Ollie was so stressed already and it was comforting knowing we had the option to take him home and watch him so he wouldnt be stressed out. They explained the medications and gave us print outs explaining everything about the meds and showed us how to give them. They told us we can call with any questions at anytime since they are 24 hours and were so friendly. Heres the best part.. during this whole thing my fiance and I were wondering how much this would cost and our guess was about 500 dollars since our Ollie had to get fluids and stuff and we bought prescription food... when we went to pay we were shocked at how much less the bill was for!! I was blown away at how reasonable the bill was!! They even gave us a military discount for my fiance who has served. The other best part: they take regular appointments too! I think we officially found our new vet!! Oh, and I am happy to say that Ollie is now doing very well and showing signs of improvement :)

I have been taking my dog to Woodbridge Animal Hospital since 2007. At first I thought this was a great place because they offered 24/7 care. Over the years my dog had been getting sick and I have paid plenty of money on physicals and other exams where they could never seem to identify what was wrong. That did not matter to them they just wanted to keep running test and billing me over $200 for just about every event. Then finally last November, when he almost died they told me he had epilepsy after $1,000 bill, but it actually turned out that he has a liver shunt. I still chose to board my dog there anytime I travel because they know of his condition and thought he would receive the proper care and treatment left in their hand. No not true, dropped him off this week with the prescription dog food (which they prescribed) that he been eating for almost a year. They choose to give him something else that made him sick and I return to a $450 bill. The Doctors at the clinic said they are not sure what happen but because of his condition he should never be boarded in the general population, but in Hospital boarding. Let see, since his diagnosis he has been boarded at the clinic four times and this is first time any Doctor has inform me he should be kept in hospital boarding. This clinic is just out to get money and prey upon those individuals that care about their dogs and would like to see them live healthy and long lives. I do not recommend this place and unless you want to continue to dishing out plenty of money.

Worst experience Ive EVER had at a Veterinarian clinic! My cat was sick and throwing up so I took her there. Marjorie OBrien was the vet that came in to check my cat out. As soon as she came in the room, she took her cell phone out and used the flash light on it to examine my cats eyes. Professional right? Then she called in a burly manly looking assistant that was actually a female. She warned me that she was about to disruntle my cat but "to not step in." (Mind you a different assistant had already been in to take a rectal temp and listened to her heartbeat with no problem, she actually said my cat was purring through the stethoscope) But no, this other assistant that Dr. OBrien called in, grabbed my 15 yr old sick cat by the back of her neck and threw her on top of the table, then grabbed a towel and threw it over my cats face and tried to wrap it around her head while manhandling her so "she doesnt try to scratch the Vet while she does an exam" I was so in shock to see the way they treated my cat while she was so sick and weak. They had her so riled up that they had to gas her. They eventually gave her one shot for the nausea and sent me on my way with my cat covered in urine from being so upset and gave me a $301 bill. No blood work or exams done. I know these 5 star positive reviews on here are fake, most likely from the clinic itself. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE FOR ANYTHING. Worst treatment and place Ive EVER came across!

Ive dealt with this hospital a couple of times and wasnt a fan but recent;y when I saw a dog get hit by a car late at night I had no choice but to go to Woodbridge. I arrived at the hospital crying with the bloody dog in my hands. They rushed her to the back but refused to treat her before I gave them a credit card. I was on my way to a friends house at the time so I didnt think to bring anything with me and I ended up having to call a relative and use their credit card so they could try to save the dogs life. Once I was in an actual room I explained to the vet that I have very limited money since I am paying myself through college and rent as well as for two of my own dogs with a very small salary. They said they understood and would keep costs low. At first I was told I could take the dog home the next day and everyday i would come they would give me another excuse for why she couldnt go home and continued to raise my bill. Despite me pleading with them to take her home early they made me feel like I would do great harm to her if she wasnt on 24/7 care which looking back at now doesnt seem true. I ended up having to pay a $990 vet bill which for me did great damage to my finances. When the bill was $300 I told the vet I couldnt afford much more and they completely disregarded my situation. If youre rich and can afford overpriced medical treatment for you pets by all means take them there, if not find a different clinic

Woodbridge Animal Hospital was recommended to me by multiple trusted friends after I adopted my schnauzer mix from the animal shelter. She was found on the streets as a stray when we rescued her, so she had no previous veterinary records anywhere and I had to start her vaccines over from scratch. The doctors were very helpful giving us advice and starting a new file for her. They cut her nails and cut some painful mats out of her hair for free (she doesnt shed and she had been a stray for months, we couldnt get her groomed anywhere until we had vaccination records). She was also very sick when we got her and she would have died if it werent for them. We saw multiple doctors and they were all just as helpful and knowledgeable as the last. We later found out she had heartworm and lyme disease and we stayed with them for the entirety of the treatment, which was about a year in a total. Today we have had her for 2 years and she is the healthiest dog you could ask for. They were always professional and fast and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and competent. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and I wont take my dog anywhere else. Ive worked at an animal shelter, and I currently work at a different veterinary practice and when I say that the staff knows what theyre talking about I mean it. They will continue to be my primary vet.
