Went here on 6-22-16 and was treated pretty decent I can see that the hospital like any business newly open still has some issues to work through. Yet i can say for the most part, i was treated and looked over really well. I wish the nurses had some what of a better bedside manner. And the staff, moved faster or at least were more detail in probing questions about how best to service concerning your pains and or comfort levels. And while some nurses were rude others were not, so I will not say all ways bad. Service I hope will definitely get better with time. But as thier hospital in San Antonio does not take low income insurance. Im sure for most of the more one star post that is why the staff, may have treated those worse. And unfair as it is, after some of the nurses and doctors have done this for 15 years or so. Thier hate is painted out in the works and shows in the felling of us the patient after we leave. So first if you gets a bed here, dont expect treatment to be swift. Second the average amount of time spent in this ER has edged up slightly over the past few to about four hours and seven minutes from what i can see and all that waiting doesnt end in the waiting room. That means you should wait till the morning if you can. If You can show up at seven in the morning you will be seen in 15 minutes or so but if you show up at seven at night it may take you 4 hours,"Youre more likely to leave satisfied if you go between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Then you really have a good chance but please remember you may leave the emergency room just as confused about your condition as you were when you got there. Honestly yall Emergency room doctors want to confirm youre not dying and youre not likely to get any worse they dont normally have time to get to the root of your symptoms, so if you really think about it, that could mean getting some tarodol to treat the pain, but not learning much about what caused it in the first place. So truly as a result, expect another trip to another doctor in your near future hopefully if you got insurance your primary. Plus your more than likely as an ER patients going be referred to an outside physician or clinic for further treatment, any ways if your visit was bad bleeding or crushed what ever, just so you know most medical specialists refuse to work in emergency rooms because of the high costs of malpractice insurance and low reimbursement rates for their services, and honestly most emergency room doctors are not board certified or residency trained in emergency medicine,. Hell the majority of emergency room doctors in suburban or rural areas are trained in family practice or internal medicine not emergency care. So yes this hospital is not the end all B all of greatest Arizona ER. But then again on any giving day which one is honestly. I received decent care, and for that I appreciate it truly, Doctor love and RN Glen. Thank you....

So I went about 12:00 last night or so to this hospital and all the staff where curtious and kind except this particular docter it was like he was already trying to discriminate against me like as if I needed drugs or something I was there to get better wether it be sugar pill I didnt care to see if maybe it was low blood sugar or diabetes idk what it was anyway his name is Ronald mcadam, physician. I went in with bad blurred vision literally it felt like it was looking thru a tunnel I was really freaking out I know I need glasses cause my vision isnt there but the problem was not me needing glasses I just sat there my vision was getting worse and the time was going by this docter Ronald mcadam kept putting words in my mouth instead of actually listening to the problem he we just adding to me feeling stressed out more he was also really rude...and when asking questions his questions made no sense and considering I had never said anything of what he was stating about what he was talking about .....my wife literally had to correct him a few times and had to ask if he can order blood work after she asked he literally asked who she was to me has is that relevant to anything...I would never recommend seeing this docter! Also just to throw this out there I kept telling that this was the 3 time this happened and that when it happened when I was by myself I drank orange juice and it made whatever what was happening to me go away it took time .how exactly would that have anything to do with wearing glasses! Point being taken on my discharge paper was for blurred vision. This mean have loss the ability to see small details really

My personal experience goes like this, the front desk, nice. the nurse taking all the details, nice. I was depressed because of the pain I was experincing so somehow they thought I was going to kill myself, so they put me in a room with no equipment. The doctor explained why I was in that room. He (latino looking doctor) with no smile, told me that I had a concousion for a previous head accident I have, they gave me a cat scan. Came back to tell me that there was no fracture, but the nurse was already with me, giving me a tons of prescription and shots for pain. Doctor got annoyed and left, never saw him again, he didnt come back to check on me, actually after the nurse was done, he refused to make eye contact with me, so in my way out I said good bye, clearly everyone else around him heard, but him. He never, not once smile, or look up to acknowledge me. the door in the area says "KIndness starts here" something like that. Not true at all. I prefer driving 100 miles before dealing with that. The nurses were nice, but like my last experience , I felt like garbage after leaving that place. We as a community mean nothing to this people. Someone in charge should fire this doctors. Did I feel like I was just a number... YES. sad, now all I have is pain and lots of drugs, and have no idea why Im still in such pain, even with medication. Hate that this is the only emergency room. I wish I remember his name but that doctor, he is latino looking, young with a beard, not too tall. He is worthless. sorry but he is.

If you are black, dont go here. The nurses and doctors are racist and will assume you are there for pain pills. I went in complaining that I was passing a kidney stone and was treated like a criminal by Dr Daniel Bade and the early morning staff. He and another doctor made a rude comment to each other (loud enough for me to hear) in regards to letting the games begin. He made me sit there for over an hour in agonizing pain before a nurse came in to give me a shot. Finally after getting scanned/xrayed he comes in with an attitude you got a kidney stone and youre constipated(Im not making this up) as if I did something to piss him off(maybe he loss a bet). He sent me home with an antibiotic, flomax, and a painkiller that didnt work(I guess just to make sure I didnt get high). That was on a Friday morning, I felt like I was dieing for 3 days (thats how long it took for the stone to pass). My Doctors office was closed and I was too afraid to go anywhere else after being traumatized in that ER. Theres so much more that happened that morning that Im not gonna get into details but just because you dont care for certain people, please have the decency to still do your job. I can handle being mistreated but for someone else that may not have thicker skin, that would be just plain cruel. And the sad thing is I said nothing and didnt react to anything this entire staff did. I mentioned it to a follow up call that Monday morning, but Im convinced that that person is being paid to act concerned. Avoid this place at all cost.
